While I won't disagree with the cleanliness of the facility, I will dispute the professionalism of the owner/manager. I rented a unit from them to store some of my mother's belongings. Megan took it upon herself to tell another person who was not on the lease which unit I had rented. Megan also told that person they could deliver items to my unit and put a lock on the unit, even though I had paid for the unit.
Editing to clarify: We have had a storage unit here for almost since the place opened. We store business supplies and equipment on site. Never had any issues until it was bought out by Five Star Storage out of North Dakota. Firstly, the app they switched to for opening the gate, well the app was terrible. It did not work 70% of the time. Had to resort to using the key pad to enter the facility. Secondly, since Five star took over, the rates have increased exponentially.
Dear Dubya Family, We take customer concerns seriously and want to clarify the situation. We most definitely want to help you, but can not find your information in our system to contact you.
DO NOT expect FIVE STAR service from this company! This company bought out the previous storage unit and I have had nothing but issues since. I have been locked out, payments I made never applied, payment increases without ever telling me. I found that most the reviews on this are company are for the previous company so trust me when I say the good reviews are not for five star.

New ownership is terrible, rent elsewhere. This place was awesome, locally owned 24 hour access, contactless, etc., since being sold they reduced hours and are no longer 24 hour access, removed the kiosk that was the reason to use them, mandated insurance (but not liability which is nonsense, I don't need 30k in personal property insurance, thanks),and increased rent, they force place garbage insurance at triple the going rate if you don't provide proof every other month, what was $93 a month could easily run…
Was locally owned and then bought by a national chain: tthat's when everything went to hell. There's no longer a person in the office and when you call the national number it sounds like you're talking to Calcutta India although they say they're located in Phoenix - seems like there's still a big language barrier - impossible to convey information back and forth.

There is a price difference from at the facility versus online. I think heavy duty lock should be provided to the residents who are renting from a storage. The map of the unit should be freaking labeled so customers can see exactly what units are which sizes.

My boxes were at my PO box, some were in my car, and I was in dire need of storage when I arrived in Sioux Falls, SD, from El Paso, Texas, last week. Due to its proximity to my lodging, I went with the Teem Dr. location. Meet James, the site manager. This dude truly enjoys what he does and was very professional. James gave me a detailed explanation of the policy and operating hours, going over each storage unit's size from A to Z when I signed up for a new one.

Wonderful and knowledgeable employees! They also have great prices and promotional deals. I feel comfortable that the storage unit and my belongings are safe and secure. The facility is clean and easy to access. I highly recommend Five Star Storage on Teem Drive in Sioux Falls, SD. And bonus, the Teem Drive location is right across the street from the PODS warehouse if you had/have a negative experience with PODS billing like I did. I moved my belongings out of the POD and into a unit at this location very easily.
