In their own words
I set up service to move my vending machines and even sent pictures. They call back a day before the scheduled move and say the price has tripled because they realized they don’t have the right truck for it and would have to rent it. I called Penske and they said it would be only $135 and this new quote was hundreds more than that. Spoke to the owner and he was very rude saying he didn’t think he would make enough money anymore and I should have known better than to trust their price!
As the owner, I was informed by my moving crew, who review the weekly schedule and take pride in making sure everything runs correctly, that two vending machines were mistakenly priced incorrectly on the schedule.
This was a truly negative moving experience. They caused damage and stains on my couch, then sent someone to repair it who did almost nothing and actually made the couch look worse. When I called to address the issue, Karim hung up on me. He also called me “disobedient” and “emotional,” which was incredibly disrespectful and unprofessional. No customer should ever be spoken to that way. I would not use this company again.

My mother was moving from a 2 bedroom ext. My brother who lives in California and did not bother asking my recommendation hired this company. They were informed that there would be some packing required and then the move. They were on time but when I got onto the location later that day they were leaving to go do a few other scheduled jobs and said that they would be back to finish up whatever was left to be packed and moved.
Catherine, I am sorry that you had a negative experience, and I understand your frustration. However, I would like to provide some important facts regarding the move. This job was booked and completed 2 1/2 months ago.
Hired this company to move my household. During the move in they had torn my mattress and cracked the bottom of my dresser. I had contacted them and they advised me that it was a very tight squeeze to get my mattress upstairs and that there was nothing they could have done about it. Will not go with them in the future.

Very poor , the way they packed and would not listen , when we unload we found a lot of broken things Tv"s and desks , and dresser , don't use them. Don't ever use they don't pay for things to be fixed

A Plus Moving Company is very responsive from the time that I scheduled for moving help to the actual moving date. Given the limited amount of time that I have, A Plus Moving crew showed up on time and on the date that they said they would. The A Plus Moving crew was very professional, proactive and took the initiative to assess what needed to be done. They were thoughtful and caring, and I didn't have to do a thing, and I just watched them in amazed of how well and efficient they worked.

I moved with A Plus Moving last week and they were superb. Karim and Cordale were both very polite and friendly gentlemen. They were efficient movers and they took the time to listen to what needed to go and what needed to stay. They treated everything as fragile and very carefully packed the truck to make sure things wouldn't fly around. They were more respectful of my stuff than I am!

We recently used Secure Moving Company for our move from South Dakota to Upstate New York, and the entire experience exceeded our expectations. From the beginning, communication was excellent—timely, clear, and professional. Karim and his team did an outstanding job packing boxes, carefully wrapping our furniture, and loading everything securely. Throughout the cross-country move, the driver kept us updated on the schedule and arrival times, and they arrived in New York exactly when promised.

January 19, 2023 A+ Moving was scheduled to move the contents of my parents 4 bedroom home, sight unseen and no idea what they were getting into. On the evening of the 18th, a blizzard hit. No big deal except the house was 2+ miles back on a road that is not maintained, moving company is in Sioux Falls and house is in Westfield, IA. We spoke to Karim (owner) and decided to wait until the following day to do the move. He showed up the next day all hands on deck, himself and 4 other guys and got started.
