In their own words
I hired Maurice and Jason on Sept. 9th, 2019 to pack a 26 ft. truck. We were moving from Melbourne Florida to Wisconsin. When we got to Wisconsin and unloaded the truck there was a huge gouge and several chips in our headboard and a huge dent in our brand new dryer. I messaged Maurice and he said he would send a claim form for the damages. I received nothing. I messaged him again and he said he would send the claim form. I heard nothing.
Debra, I sincerely apologize for not responding to this review sooner and, more importantly, for not following through with you after your move in 2019. I take responsibility for the fact that I told you I would follow up with a claim form and failed to do so.
Two stars is totally fair. Customer service is less than desirable. To start the day of the move, the two guys showed up in a UHaul an hour late past the committed window, so not a great start. Although they took very good care of the furniture the speed at which they moved was sooo slow . Had it not been for us helping with the one bedroom room move it would’ve taken excessively longer than it did. Rates drastically exceeded the estimate given, nearly double.
Hi Rachel, Thank you for your feedback. I’m truly sorry to hear the experience didn’t meet your expectations, and I say that personally, as I was on this move myself. While I’m glad you acknowledged the care we took with your furniture, I understand your concerns about timing and cost.
We’re scheduled for 8-10am. Got a call at 10:15 they would be another hour of so. They arrived around 12:30 without letting us know they were running even later. We ended up moving everything but the furniture ourselves while we waited over 4 hours for them. When they arrived they said it would only be 4-5 hours tops now that we had moved so much. The job was not finished until after 8:30pm. They said it was because they had to wait for the elevator.

If I could give Maurice more than 5 stars, I would. Moving is stressful enough, but when our move became one unexpected challenge after another, Maurice was the calm, steady problem-solver we needed. He never got flustered, never complained, and always had a solution. His experience packing PODs for interstate moves was obvious. He knew exactly how to load everything to maximize space while making sure it was secure for hundreds of miles of travel.

I hope there is a 4.5 stars option. The only reason I would not give 5 stars because the team have some problem and they come late. They provide really good service with reasonable price. They listen to my request and they are able to fit my goods in a 17 feet moving trailer. Highly recommend the service

Florida’s Reliable Moving Service exceeded every expectation. Maurice and David handled my entire move with incredible care and speed—not a single item was broken, chipped, or even cracked. As a retired Air Force veteran who has moved more than 50 times, I can confidently say these are the BEST movers I have ever hired. They were personable, professional, and treated my belongings as if they were their own family heirlooms.
