First, I will say, we were lucky to have sold our mobile home...but we cannot recommend the agent, or company that we used, which was 4 Stars Home, Inc. Sherri Streight, our agent, was extremely deceitful throughout this whole process. We signed the sales agreement after being told that it was a cash deal, the buyer was already pre-approved at our mobile home park and the closing was to take place March 10th.

Sandra, thank you for sharing your experience. I’m sorry to hear that the process felt stressful and did not meet your expectations—that is never the experience we want for our clients.

Kay and her side business with her son "Harvey Maintenance" made our first experience buying a home in a 55 and over community a frightening experience. During the closing of our home...she contracted her business to repair the floors of the mobile home we purchased through her. She and her sons stole the partial payment of $6000 sent to her via Zelle as she requested for repairs that were NEVER done.

We're sorry to hear you did not have a good experience with Harvey Maintenance. However, this review does not pertain to a direct experience with our business. If you are unhappy with that company, please leave a review there.

Truly don’t where to start.. I guess at the beginning. I called the office and got an agent who came to the house to get started. First.. he wanted to list it at $33,000 .. I said put it on for $35,900.. he said it won’t sell at that price. I said again put it on for $35,900 and of course he did after all it is my home. Next I gave the paperwork proving my new AC, new dishwasher, and new roof.

Rita, we looked into this for you and could not find the agent you were working with. Would you mind please calling our manager Gary at [phone removed] to discuss your experience?

My elderly mother purchased a mobile home in Lady Lake through Four Star Homes in October 2021. She paid more than $36,000 in cash and also paid additional fees for them to handle the title transfer. The title was never transferred into her name. There was an existing lien on the property that was not clearly explained to her at the time of sale. Because the title was never transferred, the lien still remains on the seller’s title, leaving my mother unable to sell the home she paid for outright.

Be very careful dealing with this company. I entered into a contingency contract with them. I decided to withdraw from the contract and they would not return my deposit. The property in question was sold within two weeks. I can see where my original review was edited. As I said the contract was a contingency contract where the home was already under contract. I decided the next day not to follow through, they said too bad and hel my deposit of $1000.00. The same house was sold and occupied within two weeks.
Reply from the business

Buyer walked away from the contract. Therefore, forfeiting his deposit as it is states in the contract that was signed.

I honestly never thought I’d be writing a review like this. Before I bought my home through Four Star Homes, I asked the questions that anyone buying a home should ask. I specifically asked if there was anything wrong with the home because I didn’t want to get into something I couldn’t afford to fix. I was told there wasn’t. I was told the home had passed a four-point inspection, came with a one-year warranty, and that there wasn’t anything I needed to worry about. Three months later, I’m dealing with roof leaks.

We signed a one-year exclusive listing with Four Star Homes on April 27, 2025, starting at $39,900. The agent positioned herself as a mobile home sales expert and promised an average of 100 days to sell—possibly faster, since our price was fair. Over eight months later (January 2026), we've had only three private showings and one two-hour open house with zero visitors. Marketing? Barely exists—limited to their own website, with no ads we could find on Zillow, Facebook, Craigslist, Realtor.com, or anywhere else.

I am sad to say I had a very poor experience with my latest purchase thru Four Star. I purchased a home in 2014 thru Four Star and had no problems. This time I worked with Jackie Tiani. I was in MN and dealt with Jackie via email and texts. I had the home inspected, it needed a new hot water heater and there was a leaky toilet. I was told these were taken care of and she sent me a copy of the plumbers receipt.

We are sorry that your buying experience did not meet the high standards we have for our agents and our company. As we discussed with you several times via telephone, buying a house "sight unseen" can be a difficult process. We always encourage buyers to inspect or walk the house before closing.

Working with Jenifer Krupienski was truly a wonderful experience. My husband and I were purchasing a home for our grandmother, and from the very beginning Jenifer took the time to genuinely connect with us and understand what we were looking for. She listened carefully, asked thoughtful questions, and worked hard to match the right home with our family’s needs. Although Jenifer represented the seller, she handled the transaction with fairness and integrity and made sure both sides were well served.

Thank you so much for the thoughtful and detailed review—we truly appreciate it. Jenifer is an incredible asset to our team, and it’s great to hear how she went above and beyond to support your family throughout the process.

Irma Reed was phenomenal! She was very prompt in returning my original interest in a home at Plantation Oaks. She met with us several times so we could choose the home that was perfect for us. Because we were planning to do a quick closing, she worked diligently at getting all of the paperwork done quickly. Both Irma and Mike were very helpful after we closed answering our questions and offering their assistance in whatever we needed.

Thank you for taking the time to leave such a great review! At Four Star Homes "People are our business" and most of our sales come from repeat customers and referrals! Our agents and staff work really hard to offer the best service possible.

We had the absolute best experience using Four Star Homes, Inc to sell our home. We were out of state and our realtor, Irma Reed, went above and beyond to help us take care of everything. She made it as seamless as possible for us and took care of so many details that we weren’t able to, with us being out of state. She worked very hard to get us a fast sell and a fair price I would highly recommend this company.

I bought a home in LaCosta Village a year ago through Fourstar Homes. I realized I had never left a public review about my excellent agent, Dave Rogier. I couldn’t have done it without him. I had talked with other agents from my home in Iowa and nothing seemed to click with what I was wanting. Finally I was able to talk with Dave. He went out of his way to show me different parks and homes via videos and photos. He made it so easy. It felt like a true adventure.
