I just found the paperwork from my move with this company in June 2023. Dennis supervised the move and was super friendly and I was so impressed with how hard the guys worked that I tipped them and bought pizzas. When they severely gouged a coffee table I told them to just put it back on the truck because it was a very stressful time and I had more important things to deal with.

I had the owner come to my apartment for a quote, expecting a straightforward and professional business interaction. He went to the wrong address and was late. Initially, he was very polite and professional. At the end of the visit, he offered to pray with me. I declined, as we are a mixed-religion household, and it made me uncomfortable. I’m also a very private person when it comes to my religious beliefs and don’t discuss them with strangers or in a professional setting.

Wish I could leave zero stars. A tenant of mine used this company for their move and they caused significant damage to the walls in the hall way. When I called to rectify the situation, the manager stated that the damage was there before his workers arrived. I take good care of my property and was there the night before and there was no damage. When I tell him this, he says he’s going to talk to his guys and that he’ll “get back to me”.

I recently used this moving company in July 2025. The movers were great with moving and professional. I’m disappointed at the staff contacting me after the move several hours after move was completed and I paid for services over the phone hours prior asking for more money due to their error (paying for the movers to drive back to the office). At time of service, I signed a completed form that stated I paid for my move.

This was the worst moving experience of my life. I have moved multiple times during my career. The crews that assisted me , lost or destroyed everything that I entrusted them with. The worst part, they do not appear to care. I hope this review is published. I am not sure where the undeserved 5 star ratings came from.

Fresh Start Moving exceeded all expectations. The entire process was seamless, from the initial on-site estimate with James, to the quick and helpful email communication back and forth with William. The moving crew, David, Mike, and Justin, were absolutely wonderful. They showed up right on time, were incredibly friendly, and treated our belongings with total care. They listened to our directions perfectly and worked incredibly fast.
The company Exceeded our expectations. Will, the Ops Mgr offered constant customer service, which is so rare these days. He was in contact with us, checking on our progress and needs throughout the process Terrific job! MELVIN is incredible!! We are still talking about what an amazing job he did. From moving 'our treasured' home items, to driving across to the heartland, and thoughtfully unloading the truck. He was so accommodating, and caring about our home and our property.
I just wanted to write about our great experience on June 1 with Spencer and Moussa (sp?). We hired them to help move our daughter into her college house and they were fantastic. On time, professional, friendly, patient and very helpful. We had a sofa that wouldn't fit through the door and they tried so hard to make it work in every way possible. I will 100% use them again when she moves out in the spring.
Wayne, David and Justin were amazing!! Our move was so smooth and the guys were so friendly. Flawless moving and wonderful attention to detail. Everything was placed exactly where we wanted and zero damage to property or our stuff. We couldn’t have asked for a better moving crew.
