I was very unsatisfied with this company. We were quoted a price. After the truck was loaded, they explained that it would take more time than expected and did we want to continue. Of course we had to. We asked about an extra stop, the man said, yes, for $25 per stop. We agreed and they packed up the extra furniture. Then came back saying, their mistake but it was $50 per stop. Again, all was loaded.

They were supposed to come around 3pm and showed up at 9:30am with only a few minutes notice. We were not at all ready. Then my partner got yelled at by the owner for not having things packed. Well...we could have gotten a lot done in 5 1/2 hours. We weren't even supposed to pick up the Uhaul until 11. Fortunately we were able to pick up the truck at 10:15, but we didn't live all that close. Then they ran out of space in the truck we rented.

Not a good experience. I wanted to like them because the movers were nice guys but they damaged the paint on my very expensive mountain bike, which I was very upfront and specific about packing it with extreme care. They also lost an adjustable foot for our expensive dining table which now wobbles, I called them and asked them to check their truck they said they would and never called back. Stuff happens but overall I regret hiring them.

This is hard to review since until the day of the move, I was planning on a good review. The morning of we had a scheduling conflict because we had a 3rd party set everything up. No big deal, right? Owner calls me all angry, yelling at me while I am trying to figure out how to get this resolved. He says that he can't have his team just sitting around and that he will have to charge us more if that happens. I say that is fine if that happens. Things happen, and you have to deal with it.

I tried to schedule with Friendly Movers for my 2nd time using them since 2022. Adam, I believe was his name was very condescending, literally talking me out of using the company. He whined when I told him there was an elevator in my new building. He said it would take longer and it would go from $675 to probably $800. It worked, he talked me out of it. Ill be using Cole Delivery Services. Don't clap back at my review, a review is a review, learn from it and move on. Don't scold me for stating what I was told.

Came early because of cancellation and rushed move. Came with less trucks than stated on quote. Left at least a half truck at old home. Switched labels on boxes to leave on first floor. Dragged king mattress across the ground. Damaged fragile technology that was clearly marked. Foreman refused to move furniture, causing reassembly, other members of the crew were easily able to get furniture to location. Even bought lunch and tipped. DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE!!

Opposite of friendly customer service. Willing to sever their referral relationship with a pod company to keep a deposit that was never confirmed as non-refundable in writing with a potential customer. The deposit isn’t the issue- it is the treatment of their potential customers and business partners. The movers might be great but we didn’t get that far.
