We used South Hills Movers to move from Canonsburg, PA to Sahuarita, AZ in November of 2014. They were terrible. Yes, it has taken me a long time to write this because I usually don't like to give bad reviews. Everyone has bad days but I was just looking at pictures of the damaged boxes containing my mother's china and was reminded I'm still mad! The driver was rude and dirty. His helper was the only saving grace of the entire experience.
Absolutely terrible experience. This is our 3rd and final time using south hills movers. As part of a relocation they packed our belongings, I have never seen such careless packing. We have at least five furniture items damaged along with countless pictures and decor all broken and multiple items missing. There was no recording of inventory while they were bringing boxes in. I have pictures of gardening rocks and outdoor supplies before being loaded onto the truck that never made it to our final destination.

Poor communication and serious lack of professionalism. Did not show up on agreed upon date, which left us scrambling to find another option. Extremely disappointed.
UnProfessional driver and very dangerous driving tactics. This inexperience driver proceeded to accelerate as I was merging onto the freeway, him knowing he has 53 foot trailer behind him decided to try and pass me as the lane merged into one and ran my truck with family of 5 onto the shoulder and dirt and I conducted a emergency stop. This all happened next to the tractor and I conducted the stop by inches on the dirt to allow the entire 53 foot trailer to pass.

My family shipped some items to us from Arizona to Pittsburgh and South Hill Movers was responsible for the final delivery. I received a phone call on Thursday from Joan Sherbak from South Hill Movers who informed me that the delivery would happen the next day at 11:30am. My wife and I both work, and at the time we didn't think we would be able to take the day off at such short notice. According to Joan though, no other delivery options were available at the time.
I called South Hills Movers today to get a quote on moving furniture from a residence to a nearby storage unit. The woman who answered the phone and was helping me explained that their initial procedure is to have someone come take a look at the furniture being moved. I explained to her that I was not currently residing in the home due to a separation.

I don't recommend this service and the unfortunate part is I never had to use it. But a gentleman driving a branded South hills movers vehicle just proceeded to think that because I'm a woman he could scream profanities at me and belittle me because I would just take it. Now, had he approached me like a human I would have kindly spoken to him but, to represent your company in such a manner that is a public spectacle of degrading women I can only imagine what they would do to my valuables in my home if given the…

I had used them 20 years ago, they were great. This time they were horrible. I clearly could see that they put heavy items on furniture which broke legs on furniture. I've had a beautiful lingered chest from Bombay, which cannot be used because the drawer don't fit properly the sides are bowed which causes the drawers to not close properly. It was in perfect condition, we moved 27 minutes away, and the guy told me it's from moisture.

Outstanding experience! We’ve had two moves by South Hills Movers in the past several months. One was long distance one was local. The long distance move was very good, well priced, and furnishings handled With excellence. There was additional help needed on the other end, which did not materialize, but South Hills Movers still did a good job. The second move was local and was handled with perfection. Dave and his crew were kind, efficient and careful.
