Super friendly but unfortunately the actual moving process had lots of issues. Movers arrived late, the truck was too full to accomodate all of our belongings despite us having less than the estimated amount, arrival was delayed, items were placed in locations we didn’t ask in our house, and some were damaged. We moved everything we owned across the country in multiple moves so always knew there would be some things that wouldn’t go as planned but were still disappointed by the end result

Prompt and courteous, but in too much of a hurry and damaged furniture. It was hard to see all the damage prior to them leaving til we settled in afterwards. Also, hard to observe how our furniture was handled, since multiple men in different rooms at the same time. Have never received a follow up to damaged claim.

I had an outstanding experience with George W. Weaver during my interstate move. Moving is stressful enough, but their entire team made the process so much easier. From the very beginning, Nicole, who came to my home to discuss my moving needs and provide the estimate, made me feel completely at ease. She was warm, personable, knowledgeable, and never once made me feel pressured. Instead, she took the time to answer my questions and helped me feel confident that I had chosen the right company.

Great experience! Super transparent and fair on pricing, very easy to set up and coordinate with them online and over phone. Movers themselves were amazing. Rob coordinated everything on the ground and helped us solve an issue that we had on the day of. He helped us feel very comfortable and confident that they would take care of everything we needed, even the unexpected, and they did! Both Rob and Jacob were a pleasure to work with/have in our home.

Great service and communication from start to finish. Weaver and son moved our storage unit full of household goods and furniture 250 miles. They squeezed us into the summer schedule after we got a closing date on our new house. The guys took great care in wrapping items for extra protection. Very friendly and worked hard in the summer heat. Had everything off the truck and to the designated rooms in under 2 hours. Total shipment came in around 4200 lbs. Very pleased and highly recommend this company.

Geo. W. Weaver & Son proved to be a highly professional moving service from the goods being picked up in York, PA to the delivery in Leesburg, FL. Communication from start to finish was excellent. My wife and I truly appreciated the way Robert and Hector handled everything in York and especially how Robert moved the whole load himself into our house in Leesburg without a hitch. He is to be commended for his professionalism and a great work ethic. Outstanding employee!!
