Sloppy move, over-billed by $3k despite our contract and the owner Chris + Joel were yelling at my girlfriend when she called about the additional debits they took from our credit card weeks after the move. I don’t know how this crooked place has great reviews as this business ghosted me when I made several attempts to recover unauthorized funds. They botched my out of state move and never sent a formal contract so they were able to overbill me by increasing the amount of our contract on their secure portal.

I set up an appointment with this company for a move in November. It was initially a morning appointment, but I got a call asking to change it to afternoon. The guy was really nice about it so I reluctantly said sure. My window is now noon to 2:00. I was also talked into buying a tv box. Then, moving day. I was hoping for close to noon, but I’ve moved several times and have had appointments with utility workers and such, so I knew that was probably unlikely. I can’t fault anyone for that.
The day started off well and the movers were kind. As they realized they had underestimated our services needed (after a thorough walk through with their estimator), attitudes built quickly. We had a frustrated group of movers who had obviously not been scheduled appropriately. Our stuff was quickly jammed wherever they could find space and attitudes continued to grow. We had to reach out to supervisors to get them to fulfill their agreement.
I chose Movers Co to help with my move and although the crew was really nice, the final price I paid was way too high for what I had to move and the distance from the 2 houses. A day later after the move, I also found they put a big hole on my wall and a big scratch on my newly painted ceiling. Accidents happen, I understand but that was very unprofessional of them not to tell me. Changed my 5 star review I gave on the spot to 1 so you guys are more careful and honest with your customers in the future.

Despite non-ideal circumstances (snow on the ground at departure and deatination), the crew powered through. Tire marks on freshly painted wall, wet carpet, and MUCH longer day than estimated. Will take it up with Movers & co. No stars …
