Booked packing , paid $150 deposit, waited for packers, called 6 times about now late packers, given the run around with different excuse each time. Finally they said 4hrs after the time they were supposed arrive their truck broke down. Offered to come and pack the next day. Secured Wayne's moving who was on time and professional. Getmovers arrived uninvited the next day at 11am offering their services. Totally unprofessional and lacking integrity. Paid deposit to Getmovers $150 on the 27th of Feb/23.
December 11th in Regina, SK. We had agreed via email and phone that a large truck would make a single trip to pick up 2 couches, 1 dresser, 1 treadmill, 2 outdoor patio sets, 2 planter boxes, 1 wine rack, and 1 dining set, along with some boxed smaller items which had a base fee of $599 for 3 hours and an extra $100 approximately for an additional hour. I was told it should take about 3-4 hours. Most of my furniture had already been taken out of the house, as I was preparing to sell my home.
STAY AWAY !!!! Hired them last month , they showed up late in an unmarked truck . While booking lady was in so much rush to collect the deposit and book instead of explaining the charges. The crew barely speak good English. They very slow …
Horrible service. Lazy movers that we paid 180/hr for 3 movers. Some of the time there was only 2 movers working. Damaged door trim and walls. They wasted 45 minutes to not even get our couch out of the basement. Accused me and my wife separately that the doorway was changed since we moved it downstairs. My 2 boys, age 12 & 13, had it out of the basement and in the back of the truck in 5 minutes. They couldn't move our fridge into the basement while on a dolly. I asked if they had moving straps.
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!! They are a scam! It took them 5 hours to pack up a very small apartment, with nothing big like appliances! That was just packing up at the start location! In the past they have always been able to do the whole move in the 3 hour window. After 3 hours, the price goes up. They had to have 2 guys carry a little night stand!!!!! They moved at a snails pace!!! My husband finally had enough and told them we are not paying any more than 3 hours.
I emailed for a quote and in two emails I sent, I stipulated that I did not have a moving date set yet. I received a phone call from Get Movers and they behaved like they didn't read the emails I sent, so I repeated myself verbally to this person calling me. The day after, in the 2nd phone call, I said I not to contact me again.

Before the move, communication was quick, and they were very detailed about the do’s and don’ts, which made preparing so much easier.
