Absolutely horrible company to deal with. Their mover didn't show up on the day of our move so they subcontracted the work to another mover who showed up almost 2 hours late and tried to re-nogiate the rate when he knew we couldn't say no. Cost almost $1900 to move a small one bedroom apartment from Edmonton to Cochrane and both Getmovers and the mover has refused to provide me with a receipt despite over a month of emails and calls. Some of our stuff was damaged in the move as well but I don't care about that.

This company is the worst company out there. Very unprofessional over charged did not move my stuff in my friends did unloaded the truck charged me an extra 200 dollars to dump my stuff off the truck. Gave a quote to Aish for 1060 then said I did not properly itemize my belongings which I did. Took them 2 hours with the help of my friends to load the truck. They sent me an invoice for 1554 dollars for them doing nothing. All my friends moved me. A total rip off company. They seem like they are total scammers.
If I could give these guys 0 stars, I would. My boyfriend was supposed to move today at 3pm. We get a call at 9am saying our truck is here. We call get movers to try and figure out what happened and Michael apparently told the movers 9am after confirming with us 2 times previously that we’d be moving at 3pm today. My boyfriend has been calling customer service nonstop since then to try and figure out how we’re going to move today as we have to vacate by tonight.
Three dudes rolled up in a uhaul, broke a wardrobe and damaged a wall. They didn't use any sort of moving equipment and just raw dogged it the whole time. The guys gassed themselves out almost instantly which led them to take six hours to complete the move that was estimated to take three. They drove on my new lawn and would have driven all over my neighbor's lawn if I hadn't stopped them. Since the guys went over the original flat rate time, I was on the hook for their lunch break.
