Unfortunately, our experience with Gordon's Moving Company was disappointing and unbelievably frustrating, especially given the timing around a major holiday weekend. The movers arrived as scheduled and after surveying the property, informed us that due to the 100-yard distance from the truck to the house and the narrow staircase, they would need additional crew members to complete the job safely. That was a completely reasonable assessment, and we appreciated their honesty at that point.

They came to look at my apartment on a Monday and said they would get me an estimate, called on Friday to find out about the estimate, was told that he would call as soon as he got in. Today is Tuesday and I still haven’t heard back yet or received an estimate.

Highly recommend Gordon’s. I had a move in June. The guys showed up, performed quickly and professionally. They were right on time and hustled to get the job done all the while paying careful attention to my items. It was a big move and the team made light work of it. The whole company is professional and they work very well together. I will hire them again in the future. Gordon will overestimate the move so that there are no hidden fees. The final total was considerably less than anticipated. Trust the process.

We used Gordon’s Moving for our recent move and wow! I have moved many times before and this is the first time I had anyone request to see the home we are moving so they can provide the most accurate estimate to support us. Gordon’s Moving did an outstanding job moving our upright piano into our basement. The space was extremely tight with very little room to work, and we even had to cut out part of our wall to make it fit. Despite the challenges, the team handled everything flawlessly with professionalism, patience, and care. They clearly knew exactly what they were doing and treated our piano and home with respect. We are so impressed and grateful—highly recommend Gordon’s Moving!
