Worst ever from movers to the office. Didn't care how they treated my belongings. And when they damaged something of mine only offered 100. And said I didn't pay extra for they special insurance which I never was offered. Never ever will I use them again or recommend them !!!! Zero stars !!!!!!!
The worst moving experience I’ve ever had. Moving is stressful and difficult on its own. Imagine a moving company you’re paying 100s of dollars only to reach out the night before your move and change the time of your move. Probably not a big deal. Now imagine that your moving company changed the time of your move over 4 different times the day of your move so not only do you waste an entire day of your life waiting in anticipation but also set you back with any plans you had scheduled.
DON’T USE THIS COMPANY!!! This was by far the worst moving company I’ve experienced. I will never use them and I hope my review helps others not to use Midwest moving company in Maine. I recently moved July 1, 2025 and I’ve been emailing Midwest moving companies management for about two months regarding their professional movers that cause damage to my brand new GE washer unit that cost $650/unit.
Stay away from this company. The movers themselves were great and did a fantastic job. The company's management is a failure. The driver had apparently told the office that they'd be late, but the office never informed me. I sat waiting at a storage unit for 5 hours and could not get any information from them. They then charged me an extra 2 hours.
The crew member David and other dude did a Good job moving the stuff. But the company itself charged my family extra 2 hours! Stating that they started 8 am and left at 4 pm which Didn’t even happen! They got here at 10 am and left the house around 1:30 pm. I got quoted for $748 with deposit of $180. They charged me $1,036!
We hired the company to move furniture and a brand new upright Yamaha piano from Lyman Me to North Carolina. Not like most of moving companies I dealt with, they never advised us on how to sign up for extra insurance coverages. So we …
Faye, we are very sorry to hear that you had a poor experience with our company. We try our best to make the moving process as hassle free as possible. We have made changes to our contract reflecting the challenges faced with our additional insurance packages offered.
Late arrival, alot of small scratches and chips in floors and walls. Slow loading.....delivery couldn't happen until next day had to stay in a hotel. They did discount move in the end to try to make up for it.
