The rating breakdown
Google shows 6 ratings for this business. Below twenty, a percentage swings too far on a single review to mean anything, so we don’t publish one. None of them are one or two star.
Google’s published star breakdown
| Rating | Distribution | Count | Share |
|---|---|---|---|
| 5 star | 5 | 83.3% | |

Counts as published by Google in its star breakdown, not the reviews we have read. Google also publishes a review count, which does not always match this total. Each row is rounded on its own, so the shares need not add to exactly 100%.
What satisfied customers point to
The same method, applied to the four and five star reviews. Most movers are praised for the same handful of things, so what is missing here is often as telling as what is present.

In their own words
Our movers did an excellent job with helping us haul all our furniture. They did all the heavy lifting quickly while preventing any damage to our belongings by using padding material, stacking in a specific way, & being careful with proper technique while carrying our items. They even assembled furniture that we had ordered from an online retailer. Very courteous & efficient. Scheduling was easy & communication was streamlined & simple. Would highly recommend!
Thanks, Matt! Heavy lifting done fast and done right is the whole job - glad the crew took the furniture haul off your plate. Anything you need down the road in Chula Vista or San Diego, just call. - The Gorilla Movers Team
The movers themselves were efficient and quick, they brought along some extra boxes and used padding on TVs, etc. However, when I booked a week or so in advance I was told to expect a $100 deposit to be charged and it never was. When it came time to settle the bill I was told one amount and charged $150 more, causing me to overdraft.
Jessica, thank you for the kind words about the crew - and I'm genuinely sorry about the billing. A final bill that lands above what you were told, a surprise stop fee, and no follow-up call is not how we do business, and I apologize that it played out that way on an already stressful day.
We used Gorilla Movers for our office relocation, and they exceeded expectations. They packed everything carefully, labeled boxes, and made sure our equipment was safely transported. We were up and running in no time—fantastic service!
Thank you, William! Office relocations take real planning, so it means a lot to hear the crew exceeded expectations with the packing and the details. Any time your business needs a hand in Chula Vista or greater San Diego, we're a call away. - The Gorilla Movers Team
They gave the most cheap quotation of all the other firms, their movers were very skilled and kind, and they tacked on no extra fees. There is nothing more I could possibly ask for—highly recommended!
Thank you, Emilia! Fair quotes with no surprise fees is exactly how we try to run every move, so this made our day. If you or anyone you know needs movers in Chula Vista or anywhere in San Diego, we've got you. - The Gorilla Movers Team
