I didn't want to give 1 star because there were some aspects of this experience that I was ok with. The movers came in a UHAUL that was too small to fit all my furniture, I will admit it was my fault for not doing the inventory list so they did not know what was needed. There were 2 movers that were AMAZING but the other two showed up with bad attitudes on the most stressful day of my life.

My move on March 11th with this company was the worst moving experience I ever had. I’ve moved 6 times in the past 10 years and based on my experience with Gorilla Movers, I would highly discourage using this moving company! They called to verify your address as your previous move with us involved being moved into a storage. Several attempts have been made to return your $40 that you paid cash. You stated you would come by yesterday at 8-830 AM you were a no show. We have called several times and texted.

Read the photo. To add, it wasn’t just the mirror, it was the whole back part of the vanity (double checked with my sister who it belonged to). The whole time, the movers were apologizing profusely but I reassured them it was okay and to call their supersivor to see what he could do. Y’all, he was so mean to them and then on top of that, was he not only rude to my household, he seemed like he was on something - literally. We stayed composed when we should have acted like him but we didn’t.

They arrived on time, communicated clearly throughout the entire process, and made what could have been a stressful day feel effortless. Every item was handled with care, and they went above and beyond to make sure everything was placed exactly where I wanted it.
I’ve worked with several moving companies over the years while managing apartments, and I can honestly say Gorilla Movers TX is one of the best. Their team is always professional, respectful to residents, and they work efficiently without causing disruptions to the property. Every time they come through for a move-in, they communicate well and make the process smooth for both the resident and our staff.
