Allen the coordinator was great, probably the best part of this moving experience. The moving day went longer than expected but overall smooth. The issue happened after that. I noticed a month after the moving that my rowing machine was broken and contacted the company. I called and emailed many times, waited for months, no response. I have not received any email or call back whatsoever. When I contacted them, I didn't have high hope since it has been a while after the move.
During my recent move, my lamp was broken by one of their movers. I wanted to file a claim for my broken lamp, and I never got a follow-up phone call. I sent photos as proof, and the mover who broke my lamp sent photos as well. I've used …
1 Star — Very Disappointing Experience with Graceful Moves Unfortunately, my experience with Graceful Moves was extremely disappointing. The movers arrived at my home around 9:00 AM, but the move was not completed until after midnight. One of their trucks had broken down, requiring them to rent a U-Haul, which contributed to significant delays. During the move, several of my belongings were damaged, and there was also a gouge in the drywall of my brand-new home.
I thought using this company was a good idea only to have their three man crew mishandle my furniture and cause damage to a table which I had to toss out after they broke it; they broke the bottom of a chest (didn't tell me but I noticed before they left). They then tried to glue and nail the broken piece back together and we had a brand new headboard damaged while wrapped and packaged. They stacked fragile boxes in my garage when I asked them to bring them inside.
Edited post after second move: was given 3 movers, but when the movers arrived, only 1 showed up for the first 30 mins, while the other were grabbing food, which is fine, go have lunch, but start my clock with all 3 men, when all 3 men are available and ready. The move too way longer than expected (2.5 hours longer) and I've done this same move tons of times. Then when my TV and deep freezer were damaged, I reached out to the move coordinator and he told me the claims team will be contacting me that week.
I purchased insurance since I had several expensive items. We had one TV damaged and they said someone from claim contact me but have not heard for 2 weeks and they do not respond to my call/ voice mail.
Wanted to charge me a truck fee + mileage fee x 2 for moving into another unit (same location). Moving is stressful enough & price gauging is taking advantage.

Inserting the required cliché: I would give these guys 10 stars if I could! First and foremost, Ryan provided an estimate based on our house listing and honest feedback. He was so accurate with the pricing and timeline that I’m beginning to suspect he has a crystal ball hidden in his clip board. When the moving crew arrived, it was clear Graceful Moves sent a team of elite, tactical packing assassins.
Graceful Moves was easy to work with, professional and very communicative. A premium price, but worth it. The crew of Alex, Brian and Ernesto were fabulous!
Graceful Movers was excellent! They stayed in contact with me, making sure everything was staying on track and offered helpful advice along the way.. The movers who came were very friendly and courteous. None of the things moved were damaged and neither was the house! I highly recommend this company for your next move.
