In their own words
Large selection of new and used pianos. Most are Yamaha brand (understandable since they are the local Yamaha dealer) but they do have quite a few other brands in store. The manager Nick is very friendly and helpful. Update- We decided to purchase a baby grand on consignment from the gallery. Nick and the team made the purchase very pleasant and they had our new piano delivered the very next morning.
I was visiting family in Fresno and decided to check out the piano stores in town. I had been shopping for an upright and wanted to check out a few brands not available in my area. I was very glad I did. I wanted to try out the Pearl River brands. I discussed what I was looking for with the manager (Nick), and he led me right to the piano I eventually purchased. It was a great recommendation. I was able to play a variety of different brands and models to compare. They were very accommodating.

I was disappointed when I heard Jim Fishback retired and closed Fresno piano gallery and thought I was going to have to go to Modesto or Bakersfield to shop for Yamaha Pianos. But he sold everything to Gottechalks, and there just as amazing as Jim! We went in on a Tuesday found a piano we liked and it was delivered the following Thursday. If space is an issue the clavinova digital baby grand is amazing. Nick is awesome and the delivery team is great as well, there very respectful of your house and property.
A hidden gem - loved our experience purchasing from Gottschalk from our initial inquiry to delivery by experienced piano movers. Nick is fantastic - a wealth of knowledge delivered in such a genuine manner which is a refreshing change that will definitely see us coming back for our next piano. Thanks again!
