Take your money elsewhere! I had a horrible first experience using a moving company thanks to Grace Moving. The crew was unable to obtain access on to the military base where I live due to un clean background checks. My goods were handled by multiple different people throughout the course of the 3 days all while being unsupervised by the Driver. I Had crew members standing on my dishpack as a ladder, smoking in my garage, and leaving trash all around.
Oct. 2021 they moved us from Sonora to Granite Bay. I can't even list all the problems we had. Biggest was the breaking of my imcombant bike being broken in half!! Numerous + items missing. Numerous scratches in my furniture. Items broken like legs and doors off of furniture. We've used them before with good results. What happened to them? I wrote to BBB and rated them. Customer beware. Be surprised if this gets printed!!!
Clay was wrong on 2 quotes. Paid $2000 more than quoted. Any information he passed on about the actual driver & delivery time was wrong. The move cost more than my down payment on my house. The actual driver was a professional & did an amazing job. Clay was the middle man & got paid in my opinion for doing nothin. I know of other families moving out where I’m at & he will not get the future business.
The movers Robert and Angel were the best however the final interaction with office staff was more than a bit felt like I was being bullied and then an unexpected in person meeting with the field manager, I guess that was the intimidator🤔 Whatever type of shady business that you were trying to pull off , Grace Moving Company, you should be ashamed of yourself. I give the company a negative 5 stars. I would never recommend it anyone. You’d be better off going to Home Depot and hiring a few day laborers !!!
I hired Grace movers for my move from Modesto to Los Banos. They were over an hour late, not a good impression from the start. Before the move I met with manager in person so he could assess how much furniture needed to be wrapped and moved. I did all the packing so I had several boxes to be moved. Durning the assessment he asked if I had old sheets that would help with the two bedroom sets.
It took some time to discover the problem’s because my stuff was put into storage. The enamel on my safe has cracks in it so in time it may start falling off. Gouging on some furniture lost parts to a very old brass bed now I’ll have to make some thing so I can put the bed frame together. I’m sure they saw these on the truck when they returned and could have canned to make arrangements for me to meet them on their next trip my way.
When I moved. I didn't have a good experience with them. I was missing 5 items. And they charged way too much money. I was only transferring apts in my complex. And when the guys were done, they told me they wanted $50 for dinner. It was strange. They need to pay the workers at least $30 or more an hour. Esp since a one day move, I was charged $800. And I don't even have that much stuff and when they came, all my stuff was already boxed up... So $800 and they didn't even have to use their truck...

Tried to scam us with a unfair price and KNEW it was unfair because they refused to send everything through email like we asked for. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM

I had this company move my father twice now. I would recommend them highly to anyone and everyone. Both times they checked in before to confirm our appointment, something other places did not do. The crew even showed up early and waited patiently when I wasn’t quite there yet. They worked quickly and efficiently. They were courteous to our neighbors and thoughtful about how they parked and loaded/unloaded. Things were very well packed and secured in the truck and into/out of our storage unit.

I am so pleased with the service given by Grace Moving Company. It surpassed my every expectation. Matt (the owner) kept in constant contact during the moving process and welcomed all questions and concerns that I had. The day before moving, two gentlemen arrived to begin pre-packing. They were quiet, efficient, and extremely polite. They asked permission for everything! They made sure I inspected their work and answered any questions that I had.
