Trunk Space Storage

When the storage was new, everything looked promising. However, since then there are now many people living in the units, trash everywhere and numerous break-ins. Ours was broken in to and I will be following up with a police report. I don’t know if the local public storage management will do much about it as they don’t seem to fully look into all the other break- ins but I will check contacting administration and the better business bureau as well.

Giving them a one because I signed papers to receive my 10x10 for $130 a month and because they got “ busy “ since they were new they raised up the prices is literally what they told me. The owner by far is greedy for that and I will not store my things here I’ll take it to a public storage down the road for cheaper with the same unit.

The staff are very aggressive and grumpy; they're always spying on customers and harassing them, telling them to leave quickly because it's not a place to visit. They put a lot of pressure on the customers.

This is a very simple business that should provide a very basic service; outside of that the level of professionalism dips down to zero on exit. I rented space for two months, and left at the beginning of the month on the third month. I was called by one of their staff and was informed that I would be getting a refund for the rental because I was leaving in the beginning of the month.

I've had a storage unit here for a year and I've had no complaints. I love it that I can open the gate and the elevator with my phone. People are basically nice. But now the storage unit closes at 5 PM. And you cannot get in your unit. After that. I have a job. I have a normal job and I never ever get off work before 5 PM. So in order to get into my storage, I will have to call in sick or leave work early.

Check your emails. They’re attempting to double my rate while offering new customers cheaper pricing than what I’ve paid for months. Meanwhile, they advertise a “sparkling clean, well-maintained facility.” That claim is flat-out false. I have an indoor unit, yet the building regularly smells like urine. There are times you can’t even walk the hallways because unhoused individuals are living inside the facility. Raising prices while allowing these conditions isn’t premium storage — it’s deceptive advertising.

Recently not pleased with the service. In terms of not only did the rates go up drastically but after I followed the instructions on the QR Code to move out and checked in with an employee to make sure everything was fine I still keep getting emails in regards to a late payment when I have moved out since mid April. Everytime I call no one answers. I went in before closing once to take care of the matter and they were already closed before it was even the closing time.

They are raising our prices out of nowhere. I will be switching soon. Everyone beware. Prices are going up - looks like I am the second customer of trunk space storage in stockton, who's price is doubling. That's right, our rent has doubled.
