Green Valley was far and away the cheapest bid we received. The highlight of their service was that the office staff accommodated us even though I originally quoted the wrong day. They moved things around so we could have two large vans. On the day of the move our first crew showed up two hours late. The second crew was four hours late. The guys were very courteous and extremely helpful... until they got the first van loaded. They got 2/3 of our belongings on the first van.
I have bought a few things from these people. The last thing however was broken when we got it. So since we were far away I decided to not take it back. Due to cost. So I had enough dealings with this place so I wanted to delete my account they told me several times that they couldn't delete it that I had to. Their app won't let me delete it. So to end the story just watch what you buy from anywhere including here.
Rude, snobby, and unresponsive. They specifically advertise on their website that they help those who have been left with a large estate and are overwhelmed, so I expected a compassionate response, but instead they keep promising to call me …
Please read this if you are planning on hiring this company to handle your special auction especially off site and essentially if you allow them to disperse said estate property from a location like the off site location in Lewisburg for the "Boggs" estate, first the pickup times should have at a minimum been two days with the huge amount of pieces folks bought and the many locations they were located throughout this home, then there was the issue allowing patrons to retrieve thier lots we actually had an item we…

CUSTOMER RESPONSE TO GREEN VALLEY AUCTIONS RESPONSE My comment about the failure of green valley auctions in curating items into a lot that works together remains valid. The price point of $8 is important yet irrelevant. It was chosen to allow me to sample your customer service in case there was a problem. If you won't work with a customer when small dollars are involved, it is not likely you will work with someone at a higher price point for an antique or expensive set.

Save your money and spend it with a company that cares about their customers. If you choose to take part in their auctions be sure to read all the terms and conditions because they are in place so that they can steal from their customers. If you purchase something under ten dollars be sure you pick up the day of or it is considered abandoned and it is up for grabs unless you call so they can charge you ten dollars for storage on a six dollar item. On top of 18 percent surcharge. All about the money.

No stars really. Had to mark a star to post. Horrible customer service. We called 4times before they ever deemed it appropriate to call us back. They finally scheduled an appt. with us, and after we traveled 140 miles to meet them in Staunton where the furniture and antiques were located, Green Valley Auctions' personnel never showed up for the appt. and never called to say they were not coming. Thoughtless of other people's time and expense. Guess those other reviews went to their heads OR they are fake posts.

Green Valley Auctions and Moving provided a seamless process from Auction purchase through storage and final delivery to our new residence, even including moving things from our current home to our new home. We had a lot of heavy office equipment to be moved and the guys with GVMC did an awesome job with it.
