I would like to state that my experience with AMJ Campbell was horrible. A real test of a business’ ability to deal with customers is when things go wrong. If the business deals with the customer fairly, then it shows that they are really serious about customer service. In my case, my goods were brought to my home and I was asked to pay extra storage charges that were never disclosed to me. AMJ held my goods hostage and refused to offload them until I paid the extra charges.

Our move across the country started off smooth, with customer services reps reaching out regularly and being helpful, but it very quickly fell apart as our delivery date approached. Two days before the delivery we received a bill that was far in excess of the quoted amount, despite a guarantee in their agreement which outlines that they won't charge for more than 10% of the quote due to extra weight because of their own poor weight estimate. The bill was more than 20% higher than the quote, over $1,700 more!

AMJ Campbell Toronto came highly recommended but in fact were very poor. Our experience started off right, the owner came to our property on time, represented himself as a professional, was polite and performed an assessment of the articles to be moved. Unfortunately thats were the good experience ended. For context this was my fourteenth international move so I have many moving experiences I can call upon, but I can honestly put my hand in my heart and say this was the worst move I have ever had.

I really should have read all these negative reviews before selecting AMJ. I was warned not to pick a moving company using an hourly rate but went with AMJ on their hourly rate figuring this would be more professional and accurate. Was I wrong! Instead of selecting comparison fixed moving quotes at 25% less working directly with the Owner, I picked AMJ for “peace of mind” involving communication with the sales rep, his Admin, the moving supervisor and finally the operations manager.

AMJ broke our $2000 tv in the move which was packed in original manufacturers packaging (including Styrofoam inserts), and will not provide any compensation. Tv worked before the move, and now it does not. AMJ said because the box doesn't look damaged they won't compensate. My heart is broken, oh wait, because my body doesn't looked damaged I guess my heart isn't broken. Complete nonsense with this company. I would advise anyone using AMJ to bring your own valuables with you.

Called Thursday April 1 to book a move for April 12 and there was an opening at the time i called. Gentleman gave me the price per hour and said someone will call me back to for additional details. Called back on Saturday as no one returned my call. Was told that someone would call me back on Monday. A lady called me on Monday and said they had an opening for April 12 and would call me back the next day to do the virtual estimate.

WORST MOVING EXPERIENCE with this company. We hired AMJ Campbell for our recent move from Oakville and it has been an absolute nightmare! The sort of things you always worry about when moving. The quote was inaccurate, the movers were unprofessional and the management proved to have no real interest in taking ownership for the items of ours that were damaged and the inconvenience of the mistakes made by their company in this move.

My mother used this company/location for her recent move. I've never been more disappointed. Having moved several times I have never experienced such poor service and execution. While items were packed well the movers simply did not move everything. I had to use me car and take 5 trips to move everything they did not move. At the new home the placed many boxes in the wrong room. Stacking boxes high up in a bedroom so the labels couldn't be read.
