In their own words
In summer 2012, after several weeks of internet research, checking the latest Larry Fine's "The Piano Book", and visiting almost every well-known piano stores in GTA area, I just couldn't decide which piano to buy for my daughter Amelie. It was in the Merriam Pianos Store, Amelie and I made final decision and we went for Perzina upright 133BB. Now she is studying for her ARCT exam. She loves her Perzina and enjoys every moment playing it. The buying experience with Merriam was very pleasant and highly positive.

I was really impressed with my experience at Merriam Music. Great range of pianos and excellent service. Patrick at Merriam was extremely helpful and patient. He answered all my questions, showed me a range of instruments that helped me understand some of the pros and cons, price points, etc. He spent many hours with me, and was also really responsive by email and phone (piano buying is a big deal and takes a fair bit of research and time).
Normally I don’t do reviews, but since I’m still awake and exciting @140am because of today’s Merriam visit, might as well. And the exceptionally good customer service at Merriam is definitely worth recommending. As an absolute beginner, all I was trying to do was to touch and feel some of the digital pianos, and eventually purchase one and start learning. I’ve done a fair bit of research, on paper, but never got a chance to experience the real thing.
This was one of the most rewarding reviews we’ve ever received. I can’t thank you enough for the kind words - we are thrilled that you had such a great experience, and I’ll be sure to pass the feedback along to Patrick as well. THANK YOU!! -Stu and team
Well... it was a long time coming but I finally decided to purchase a Kawai VPC-1 piano controller from Merriam Pianos. I can honestly say that when it comes to knowledge and professionalism that Merriam Pianos rates the highest in my books! From getting digital and acoustic questions answered from Stu a few years ago, having a pleasant interaction with Robin in 2016 and to finally being treated with great respect from Joe throughout the process of purchasing my new instrument...
