Tried to call for a quote. I let them know I’d like to do this as cheaply as possible. Mentioned I’d be willing to wrap all of my furniture to help prevent damage and keep the hourly cost at a minimum. Then for whatever reason tells me that they don’t think they’re the guys for me because I mentioned doing things myself to help bring the cost down? He says the only days I have are the most expensive days. Ok? That’s exactly why I mentioned doing some things myself to help keep the cost down.

Don't get Fooled on the rating. Used them today for a move, very disappointed with the professionalism and work ethic from the 3 guys that did the move. One worker took more bathroom breaks and water break then moving. Yes, 65 and cloudy is a heat wave. Another worker spent more time folding blanket when moving, milking the hourly rate. Both beds were not cover or seal so the side of the bed has all dirt and grim from the dirty truck floor. I would not recommend them to my worst enemy.
Oh no! I hate to hear that you feel you have been fooled. Clearly, we did not meet your expectations, and I would love to hear more about your experience. It is important for us to hear where we need to improve and what we can do to make this right with you.

I’ve used this company three times and had roughly ten crew members to my homes. All of the crew members have been hardworking, respectful, careful and on time. The communication was great and there were no surprises with the quotes that I was given.
Happ Movers sent three trucks and a six member team to move the contents of our 4BR single family home from the northwest suburbs to the north shore. They are the best: friendly, hardworking, careful and efficient. Definitely not a “budget” mover but for the level of service they provide, it’s very reasonable pricing— and worth every dollar. Our crew was AAA. Highly recommended without reservation. If you can get them, use them.
A family decision to downsize and move closer to our grandkids called for a significant move across town. While our move date was somewhat flexible, we settled on a window of time and interviewed a few moving companies. Greg came out to provide an estimate, and I was impressed with his honesty and customer-first approach. Our choice was to use Happ, with whatever date they could accommodate us. I called the office a few times with questions ahead of the moving date.
The guys at Happ movers get an A+++ from myself and my partner! They were quick, made it all look easy, and were an absolute delight to work with (both the guys at the office and the movers themselves). This was my first time ever using movers, and I'm never not opting for movers again, and I will ALWAYS hire Happ for the job. For us, we were looking to only move our large pieces of furniture (bed, dresser, couch, etc). We estimated it would take 2-3 hours to get it done.
