I hired Happy Mover’s 6/2026. First of all my estimate went over and ended up paying over $1400, about 500 over the original estimate price. The 3 guys damaged my sofa, TV, dresser and lost pieces to my kitchen table that stables the glass. They scratched up the walls and I banisters. They were extremely unprofessional screening, slamming screened door, screaming and banging. They blamed the damages not their lack of care for my belongings, but rather on the value of the furniture.
I would not ever recommend getting a quote. Response to your reply: I can provide your email and quote if you would like. This review was regarding customer service. Your office and staff were rude and disrespectful.
We have no record of this individual ever using our services.

September 2023: Pre- and post-move, Happy Movers was great to work with; very responsive and accommodating. During the move, my movers, Rashad and Matt, were punctual, polite, professional, and very efficient. I am moving again in six months and I will not hesitate to work with Happy Movers again! February 2024: I used Happy Movers twice in a six-month span. Both times I was highly impressed with their punctuality, politeness, professionalism, and efficiency.

As a service member with over ten moves, this is by far the best service we have ever had at a great price! James, Mazer, and Darryl were very professional and fast, yet super careful with our stuff. The truck was packed immaculately and the guys even gave us some extra supplies of things I forgot like tow straps. For my military folks, stop letting the military move you. Hire these folks, drive your own truck, and hire a labor only crew or move yourself in.

My daughter hired this company to conduct two moves. One from her apartment in Richmond and into a temporary storage facility. A week later, from the storage unit to her new home in Glen Allen. As her dad and a veteran, I know what quality moving service looks like, big and small. This company impressed me and my daughter with their pricing, staff, equipment, and technical expertise.

I was looking for a moving company and came across Happy Movers on my google search. I was looking for the best reviews and decided to give them a call. They responded to me very quicky given the holiday week. I spoke to Isiah, who explained the details of the move and details very clearly on the phone. He was able to even get me an earlier date to help me with my move. The morning of the move, he called me with details and specifies. The movers Joshua and Jarice called me and were on time.
