Beware of this company, would not recommend!!! On July 22 my fiancé and I relocated from the Savannah GA area to the southeastern FL area and used Honest moving company. Rick and his team were great at first. When they delivered our items, there was damage to multiple things, we chose to only ask for 3 very large expensive pieces to be repaired and be reimbursed for 1 canvas with a giant dent in it . 2 of those 3 large expensive items were necessary to our careers.
Suzanne , thanks for the review. You were not shorted in your settlement pay out. We deducted charge back fees (from the credit card disputes you filed against us) and adjustor fees that we had to pay to recoup the funds for the job we completed.
Just read the first 1/3 of Suzanne Mossi’s 1 star review and it sums up my experience. We have lived where they moved us to almost a year and still not a penny for damages. Lost emails, hard to reach, changed their email address so they didn’t get my emails?? Too bad I never got responses once I got their new email address either. You live and you learn. Please learn from my mistake.
We had Rick come out on July 28, 2022 to give us an estimate to pack and move us to a storage shed. He was very nice, walked throughout the house taking pictures of everything. It is a 5500 sq. ft home. He told us we would either get a quote that night or it would be in my email when I woke up the next morning. Today is August 20th and we have yet to hear a word, get an email, get a quote, etc. Crickets. Wow, not a great way to treat potential customers.
Note that ALL of our 1 star reviews are from people that we never had the opportunity to service. Janet, I just pulled your estimate profile and it appears it was sent then kicked due to invalid email. This message appears if the email address we have is invalid typically due to a typo.
I'm honestly surprised to come here and see all of these high ratings. I'm glad everyone else had a good experience but I definitely did not. I VERY rarely bother to write negative reviews but had to in this case. The only positive things I can say is that the guys were on time and were fast. The fast thing ended up being a negative later though. Two guys showed up and I showed them around and specifically showed them a big pile of straps and bungee cords and asked that they use them to secure items in the truck.
Thanks for taking the time to leave us a review Ms. Nordeck. I would like to apologize for the negative experience you’ve had with our company thus far. Even though things aren’t well right now we will continue to strive for a positive outlook from you towards our company -as a valued customer.
Do not hire this moving company. I have experienced the worst customer service ever. My move began in July. They damaged multiple pieces with some items being brand new. After arguing over the damages for 7 months, they agreed to pay for partial damages. When I finally received payment, they netted out the cost for the adjuster and only gave me a small portion of the cost back. I would hate to see anyone else go through this. Find someone else.

Challenges with move on 1/20/24. One mover sent was awesome but not as schedule or planned. Trying to discuss /resolve but unable to get through now to company. Unfortunate, as trying to resolve a situation professionally and expected same courtesy based on reviews.

Call them! My closing was delayed for a week, which meant I had to have a new moving date all of a sudden. Rick at Honest Moving worked his magic and somehow got me on the schedule exactly when I needed. Rick and two other guys showed up on time! They were friendly, respectful, careful, fast, and very strong! I would hire them again in a minute. Call them if you need good movers!!!
These folks were great even before the move date. I hired them to unload a huge truck on the day I would arrive in town. When my move fell behind schedule the day before I was supposed to arrive they were responsive and able to fit me in on my new arrival date with zero complaints. On the date of the move they were in constant contact about arrival time and showed up as scheduled.
Honest moving & company is hands down THE BEST! I had to move for work and I was stressed with finding movers at a reasonable price. However, the men of Honest Moving & Company were reasonable and super helpful on move day. They were so very flexible with my schedule. They even helped me throw some household items away and disconnect and connect my washer and dryer in my new place!!! The next time I move I know I will hire them again. I’ve also recommended them to my friends and family.
These guys did a terrific job with our one way move from Savannah to Brunswick GA (on March 22, 2018)! Most importantly, their rates/costs are unbeatable! We received three estimates, Honest Moving was near half the cost or more saved, compared with the other estimates we received. Excellent! Equal to low cost, their timeliness, quality, and attention to all those details involved with a move were well done.
