In their own words
During our last move from Natomas to Granite Bay, $6k dollars of furniture and electronics was destroyed. We have been working since January to try to get reimbursed for the damaged items. Today they offered us $1000. What is particularly problematic is the movers covered up the damage to the television and the other items. Even bringing them in last and tucking items away so we could not see them. We paid each of them a $60 tip and they just smiled and said thanks. Avoid this company.
We hired them to move our belongings and they only moved certain things. We asked them to come back because they didn't move very large items and they wanted to charge more. We said why would we pay more, we told you what to move. They refused. Very unprofessional.
As you can see I do not review often on Google. I only review when a business provides me with an exceptional experience that I take the time to review them. Unfortunately this time I am writing a review for on ongoing exceptionally negative experience. A little background on how and why we are using a service such as House to Home. We are being relocated 700 miles for my wife's career.
We had a great experience with House to Home Moving in 2019 but my experience in 2023 was unfortunate. The crew was slow, did a horrible job with moving appliances and waited to unload my refrigerator until very last. I did not receive the quality and service I was charged for. I will not use them again.
I was actually really excited about using this company. Initially they were very responsive and easy to work with. Unfortunately now that there is a problem they are ignoring my calls. When we first set up our estimate we asked the guy if …
They moved maybe 15 to 20 mostly small items less than 15 minutes away. I never received an invoice, but my card was billed twice for an exorbitant amount. I had two pieces that were damaged yet could not make any claim as I had no …
Such an elaborate fake review... 1) We're all digital, so moves don't happen unless you're in the system. 2) You gave someone your credit card without an invoice? 3) Maybe duplicate billing? You don't even know?

In their own words
House to Home Moving was fantastic! They helped us move our corporate office; we had a lot of heavy items to move, and the crew handled everything with care. They moved every item without any damage and made sure everything was placed exactly where we wanted it in our new location. The entire team was professional, efficient, and great to work with from start to finish. A special thank you to Austin, Chris, Dustin, Jarom, and Joseph for their hard work and excellent service.
Thanks for the recommendation Tabitha. We appreciate the support.
This is the best moving company! I have had horrific experiences in the past and this company puts them to shame!!! They came out for a preview of what we needed to move and gave us a solid estimate. On moving day, they were on time, polite, and ready to work!!! They made our move easy. Our movers were Carlos, Mesoke, and Anthony. Thank you soooo much!!!
House to Home movers are amazing! They worked so hard today. Special shout out to Ernie, Dwight, and Edgar who worked until 10 pm making sure our furniture was put together. I honestly felt so bad for them and I would give them five stars if it weren’t for Ray who underestimated the trucks needed for our move. They came with 2 trucks and it took three full trucks. That’s a bad call. I was suspicious because all of our other bids stated three trucks.
Thanks for the review Kim. Ray missed the call on this one, for that we apologize for any inconvenience. To his credit, he's been with the company for 10 years and has been very accurate. Glad you were happy with the rest of the move, we do have the best professional crews.
Austin, Nick, and Chris did an awesome job moving our stuff. They were very accommodating and had a great attitude throughout the process. They got done in a timely manner. They took time to make sure our stuff was wrapped so that was nothing got damaged in the process. I will be recommending them to family and friends for future moves.
We appreciate all recommendations Krysta. Thank you for going through the process with House to Home Moving!
