Moved across the U.S and used them. We had a 4 bedroom/2.5 bath in north Sacramento, CA. 1. Tons of my stuff ended up broken/unrepairable. They didn’t take items out of drawers in our hutch, desks, anything that had cabinets and drawers. (Broke most of the items that were them) 2. Broke a desk completely, broke stand up planter for backyard, broke vases and more. Didn’t put our 100” tv screen in a box, completely destroyed it.

DON’T WASTE YOUR TIME! This was absolutely the worst professional experience of my life. The workers showed up almost 2 hours late to the pick up location. Once they arrived at the drop off they were asked to wear masks which they did not have. They were provided with them and immediately took them off within 10 minutes. They were asked to place everything into the garage as we were not ready to completely move in yet. They literally TOSSED our items into the garage like they were throwing it into a dumpsters.

Worst service ever. They moved my items without telling. They were stored with them for over 9months and I only found this out when I wanted to get my items out of their storage unit. That's when they told me they moved my stuff again to a box truck. Items and furniture are broken and the owner is deceitful. When they moved my items to my own storage unit, saw the condition of my items as the truck leaked and damaged boxes. They stacked heavy items on lighter items.

PLEASE do yourself a favor and stay away. If only one person follows that advice this review would be well worth it. We initially saw all the negative reviews and were weary but they offered the best price and unfortunately for us U-Move was our last option for an out of state (SoCal to OR) 4 bedroom move. PLEASE pay more for a professional moving company that quotes based on weight. When compared to U-move, you wont regret it. Every single bad review on here came to life during the entirety of the move.

I got money taken from me by UMove.This business is no longer in business .I guess they were evicted from the space on 3175 Subset ,Rocklin Ca.They quoted me 2k.for moving me then I was somewhat forced to pay because they had my possessions in a truck then delivered to me 3 days later.This move ended up costing me over 4k.with Umove. And I want to mention that they ditched me on day 2 of my move- Didnt finish the job.
I was suppose to start moving at 2pm however they did not show up until 6pm. I was quoted $700 and they told me $26** once they had loaded my stuff and refused to give me anything until I paid half. I was supposed to have some of my stuff dropped off at storage but because they came late they were unable to due to the storage place closing time (10pm). I tried calling the manager however he ignored my calls that night. I called the police because they refused to give me my stuff and wanted 4x the agreed amount.

We have just paid $8500 for a move that was totally unprofessional and unacceptable. Your movers arrived 2 hours late with a very small truck and then proceeded to tell us what they could take and what they wouldn't take. They charged us to move a 3 bedroom house and only moved one room. They also arrived with no boxes and then sent me out to buy boxes. They also had my wife pack clothing in boxes. The last time we used your company you sent professionals that had everything for valuable paintings.

This is a very bad company, never work with them. There is no one to listen in the management. Employees did not work properly even after being asked, scratched the wall in my new house, broke the lead of an expensive painting. I will never work with this company in my life. And I am telling you also, never get any work done by this company. 😡

My daughter needed to get out of a abusive relationship and needed to move quick. Max and Sam were quick to help even though it was outside of normal hours. They came and packed up her belongings and even though it took a sheriff to come and tell her boyfriend to leave her alone while she moved her stuff out they were not phased by it. They were professional and extremely helpful. I highly recommend them to anyone needing really good people to help you move.

Definitely recommend this company. From my initial contact with U-Move through the end of our job, the business exceeded my expectations. They remained in contact with me, and accepted changes to our delivery location without any problems. The movers arrived on time and prepared for the job. They worked efficiently, respectfully and completed the work as contracted.
