I strongly do not recommend this company! Huber Wilmot Moving & Storage destroyed beyond use my Ethan Allen king size mattress which they stored for about 7 months. I was assured that it would be packaged and stored correctly. However, upon delivery, it was unrecognizable! In addition, they lost all of the hardware to assemble the bed. They cracked the Weber Grill Table. I submitted a claim for damages and received an email from Dale Wilmot that was demeaning, unprofessional, degrading and insulting.

Do not hire them! They are fantastic until they damage your items and shut you out/stop responding. Unless there is a way you can guarantee that no item will be damaged, they are not worth it. No customer service! Look somewhere else or you could wind up paying thousands more!! We hired them at the end of May, a month before my twins were due, to move us into our new home.

HUBERWILMOT IS A MOVING NIGHTMARE. I’ve moved at least 10 times in the last 20 years and never have I had slower, less efficient movers. It took 11 hours to move a 3 bedroom that included no packing and only 2 beds. The same company packed my house (without kitchen) the day prior in 5 hours yet it took another 5 hours for 4 movers to load the truck and another 6 hours to unload in my new home. The movers were also sent to the wrong delivery address which cost another hour of my time.
Where to start? maybe from the beginning The moving date was closing in and no call to reconfirm moving date. They only sent an email the day before. I lived in an apartment building with 13 floors. I was clear about the time limit on the elevator reservation. When I called, I told them I had the elevator from 8am to 11am because there was somebody else moving in the afternoon. I was told movers would arrive between 8 and 9. They arrived at 9. You can imagine the mess from then on....

I would not recommend this place for storage because they lost items. I should have been more judicious when checking the inventory sheet when moving but I trusted this company. Very expensive lesson learned. I would get your own storage place that you control.
The guys were too little to be moving furniture. Put bad scratches in hardwood floors; chipped dresser top; cracked bunk bed headboard; chipped chair leg; dirty hand prints on white lamp shades. But mostly didn’t like the way they responded …

Professional, punctual, respectful of our belongings. Service included floor protection mats along the whole route inside our home, protective coverings on doors, and wrapping of our delicate furniture. Highly recommended for anyone considering a move!
