Absolutely the worst experience with a mover ever in 55 years. If there is as a 0 that’s would be good hat I give. I have had to replace over $500 in damaged merchandise. The amount discounted was an insult! Very unprofessional. I could have hired most anyone that could have done a comparable job. We relocated to Raleigh NC from the Winchester area and felt confident with the reviews we read. When they came to pack my stuff the left half the house unpacked, kept asking what all was going.
This is not an accurate Review or Customer. Unfortunate that it affects a companies Google Rating.
I have been very hesitant to post this review but have been left no choice since this company has not responded to repeated requests to communicate. My multitude of unreturned calls, no response to inquiry on website and no response to a …
Good Evening. We apologize, but with no name that is attached to this review, we have no reason to believe that this is from a legitimate customer. We have double checked our claims database, and we have zero open claims for customers right now.
We used Patton’s Moving to move us 15 minutes away from our current house. The move was today - May 22, 2026. Their employee, Tyler, came to our house and looked over everything we had to move and gave us a price of $1750 to move 2 beds (frame and mattresses), 2 nightstands, 8 dressers, a washer and dryer, and 1 mirror and a small chest freezer. We had another quote for $1200. I told Tyler that the other price was $1200 and he said, “let me see what I can do” and then offered to do the job “all in at $1425.”.

Be prepared to lose money, if you have a family emergency. Yes the company may disclose a non refundable deposit up front. You may even sign something about it being non refundable. But if you have a family emergency and have to cancel your moving plans altogether, be prepared for this company to not have a shred of decency to make any exceptions to their rule. Rather, you can expect for them to tell you that reschedules cause them to lose business (aka MONEY - which is all they apparently care about).

These gentlemen were the best we have ever had do a move for us.There names are Charlie,Devin,Xavier and Roland were absolutely the best and in my view because I dont care I would say bad ass as can be. Each one of these men deserve kudos, we have used movers in the past which is why we tried Patton movers and they exemplified skill. They sent four very hardworking men and that is exactly what is needed for a good experience making moving to be less stressful. They certainly made it that way!
