*EDIT UPON RESPONSE: DO NOT TRUST THIS BUSINESS. THEIR RESPONSE PERFECTLY SUMS UP THEIR WORK. DEFLECTION, BROKEN PROMISES AND EMPTY APOLOGIES THAT END UP WITH YOU BEING DISAPPPOINTED. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY, HEED MY WORDS. THEY ARE THE WORST!!!!!!!!!!! Unfortunately zero stars isn't an option. Hughes was unfortunately given to us as our Estimator and move coordinator contracted with United. Bruce was our Estimator who failed to properly estimate the load, missing by THOUSANDS of pounds.
We’re truly sorry that your move didn’t go as smoothly as it should have. Our goal is always to make the process stress-free, and in this case we fell short. Based on the virtual survey and the inventory list provided, our original estimate was accurate.
DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY !!!! Please contact me before booking with them. Bruce Hart the sales rep will lie to your face and then not answer your calls !!!!Maria Thornton is NO HELP and will just tell you what she thinks you want to hear !!!! They gave me a guarantee delivery date - to move my belongings across country and my load has sat in their warehouse for over a week and has still not left Florida !!!STAY AWAY !!!! UPDATE: This company continues to lie to BBB to try to save face.

This is by far the worst move. Our family has moved approximately ten times and never had this experience. They seem to only communicate when we inquire and send emails. We have broken items, as well as numerous boxes missing. We continue to hear the same message, “we are contacting other families who had stored household goods during your timeframe”. Totally unacceptable. We have been very patient, but enough is enough. Thank goodness this is our last move.

Missing several boxes that I watched loaded on the truck in Florida. All Christmas stuff is missing. A box of shoes and miscellaneous items. They could have went missing here at the new house helpers were sent from Cobb County 60 miles away. Young Hispanics.

Things got broken because they weren't packed properly. The high value items were not marked properly. The packers took many breaks and refused to help move boxes out of the way to expedite the move. They over packed by 40 boxes.

Run, don’t walk, away from this horrid company. Have moved multiple times, this was the only time things broken and missing. Unsatisfactory offer of pennies on the dollar for claim.
Had a moving van almost plow into me today. Careless drivers and would never use them based off this experience and will tell others as well.

From start to finish everything was done just as described. Estimate was spot on, no hidden costs or surprise surcharges. Packing crew showed up on time and did an excellent job packing our items. Not a single item was broken or damaged. They arrived at our new location exactly when they said they would. Both the loading crew and unloading crew did an outstanding job. My husband and I are separating. The gentleman that came to access for pricing did his belongings first for storage at Mayflower and then accessed my stuff that was going into storage. He was quick and efficient. My husband's stuff was packed and moved Thursday ( Friday had been set aside if needed. They came back and packed mine Monday to move Tuesday. Andres, was the guy to ask if anyone had questions.

We've moved on numerous occasions in the past 10 years and often had bad experiences. However, we've employed Hughes Relocation Services for two separate moves from Florida to North Carolina since 2012. This firm by far, is the most professional moving company we've ever had the pleasure of dealing with. They're field representative is prompt, "professional", very "knowledgeable" and more than happy to assist in every way possible.
