Given one price then after loading most of my furniture and belongings They said that there would be and additional fees because everything was heavy. Never said anything about weight except safe. Then everything was supposed to be moved in one day. All my furniture and belongings were taken to Baltimore and back the next day. The one day move was only 41 miles. After returning the next day, my furniture was moved by a totally different crew. My furniture was delivered with chips and scratches on it.
We've seen your review about the damages during your move, and we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience you've faced. Your satisfaction is our priority, and we're disheartened that your belongings weren't handled with the care we aim to provide.
Our experience with iMoving was an absolute nightmare from start to finish. They were seven hours late for pickup, overcharged on the pickup day, and could not give us a straight answer about when the movers would actually arrive. Only later did we find out that iMoving is not a real moving company at all they’re just a third-party brokerage that outsources your move to whoever they can find last minute.

Another scamming company. *EDIT FOR THEIR CANNED RESPONSE BELOW. I did ask for a review of my issue and I was told there is nothing else that was going to be done. So after my items were held hostage for more money, a TV is completely missing, a bed frame and stainless kitchen trash can were destroyed, $79 to replace it all.* Purposely withheld full coverage information from me until it was too late. Took my belongings then called and charged me double. Again AFTER my things were in their procession.

I had a very poor experience with iMoving. Communication after booking and up to the move date was extremely poor. They didn't assign a driver for me until 10:30 am the morning of the move date and keep in mind the time window for the drivers to show up was 8am - 12 pm. The movers didn't even do what was purchased which was packing and wrapping up furniture and tv but that's not the drivers fault it's iMoving's fault because the driver didn't even get the full details nor my contact info until 30 mins after…

I am giving them one star only because it won't let me give them zero. I was called by Evan. Given a bid of $1,052. Their idea is to be flexible with 3 days of choices for moving. We have to go to closing on the sale of our house was Friday. I told them Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday would be fine. I called on Monday and Josh told me they hadn't scheduled anyone yet. On Tuesday I called and got the runaround. Finally figured they weren't coming that day. I called on Wednesday and got the runaround again.
TL;DR: I was given an estimated delivery date of July 3 - July 6th and my stuff didn't arrive until July 19th. Thirteen days past what was initially estimated. Even counting the max seven day delivery window after the delayed July 7th pickup, there was an additional six day delay. iMoving made false promises to close the deal and failed to deliver on the agreement. Conversations to resolve the issues devolved into he said she said between iMoving and the carrier Star Van Lines.
At iMoving, we are committed to providing legendary daily service to meet our customers' needs. We train our representatives and carriers to handle issues effectively and ensure this situation won't recur. Thank you for your feedback, vital for improving our service.
Calling anyone who has been harmed by this company to join our class action lawsuit. My husband and I have been scammed by this company. We were told that they needed a card number to keep on file but they would not be charging the card. Next thing we know, the card was charged $3,800. We did not sign a contract, nor were we presented any terms and conditions for any cancellation fees. Within 5 minutes of noticing the charge without our consent, we called the company asking to be refunded.
My senior disabled mother paid over $800. to this company to move her. The move date was set for Saturday November 15, 2025 with their arrival window 8am- 12pm. After nobody showed up the company called her and said they'd arrive between 1pm and 5pm the same day. It gets dark before 5pm where we live. It's illegal to move at night in our city. So then the move was rescheduled for TODAY, Sunday November 16, 2025. The new arrival window was to be 9am-11am.
To clarify, iMoving is not the moving company. We are a booking and coordination platform that connects customers with licensed third-party carriers, and arrival windows are provided by the carrier—not guaranteed arrival times.
