In their own words
The 5 star ratings for Irish Ox Moovers are a complete fraud. My recent move with them was an utter disaster, and the experience was far from what their reviews suggest. From the outset, the movers were disorganized and arrived several hours late. Their road rage was alarming, as they drove aggressively, making the whole experience even more stressful. Once they arrived, they handled our family's belongings with utter disregard.

Won’t return your call. Tried calling several times and left a message but no return call. Not until I left my review did I get a response full of excuses.
Sir,if you left a message and I didn't get back to you,I apologise. I'm not sure why you wouldn't try calling me again before leaving a one star review. I not only move but I also take calls, respond to emails and texts, return calls, and send quotes through other platforms.
What satisfied customers point to
The same method, applied to the four and five star reviews. Most movers are praised for the same handful of things, so what is missing here is often as telling as what is present.

In their own words
A two-man team arrived on time, and efficiently and carefully moved the furniture to my daughters home. All items were padded and wrapped, and they were extremely careful. Courteous, no-nonsense professionals. Reasonable pricing...good value. Would highly recommend Irish Ox Moovers!
Thank you sir!
Holy cow (or should I say Ox?), Rick and his crew know how to MOOve! Corny jokes aside, these guys are amazing at packing/moving and kept the mood light throughout. I mention the latter because I've done moves while working full time and with a cat who's only mine because he was abandoned/lost during a move (and has MAJOR anxiety/PTSD about a repeat incident).
Thank you so much for your detailed review, Emily! We're so glad you chose Irish Ox Moovers for your moving needs and we enjoyed providing a 5 star moving experience for you! We will be happy to help with any future packing and moving needs you may have.
I've moved probably a 1/2 dozen times or more over the years. I've used friends and family, hired movers on Craigslist, had other movers who were recommended who I considered professionals at that time, but I can honestly say this is the first time I've dealt with a true professional moving company, and it really makes all the difference in the world. Owner is very professional and just a real nice guy.
Thank you for the stellar review Rob! Best regards to you and your family. Rick S
Irish Ox Moovers recently helped me with a 30 mile move from western Henrico to Goochland. The three man crew, led by Rick, was amazing! Rick quotes the job, schedules the job and shows up day of and completes the job. To have the owner actually working on the engagement is a huge plus this company offers that not many others do. The guys disassembled a lot of furniture and carefully wrapped it all in moving blankets and plastic.
Thank you so much for the detailed and thoughtful review! We're thrilled to hear that Rick and the team exceeded your expectations with your move from Henrico to Goochland. Having the owner onsite and involved is something we pride ourselves on, and we're glad that it made a difference for you.
