Update:Renters watch out. Received no help from management. We decided to move down the road and rent the same size unit for $100 less a month. Was very happy with Anchor storage, but have been so disappointed with Iron guard. I just was sent a notice that they are raising my rate AGAIN! I looked online, and saw them advertised for a full $73 less than I am currently paying.
I strongly urge anyone considering this facility to stay away. My trailer was stolen from Iron Guard Storage in Marysville, and when I asked about security footage, I was told the cameras are only for show and don’t even work. That means …
Nothing good to say about these crooks. Canceled within 5 minutes of signing up, hey, I reserve the right to change my mind (!) explained to the front desk gal, Cindy that circumstances suddenly changed, no prob, she said Manager who did the refunds was traveling & she would give me a refund in 2 days... but Noooooo! Since then I've gotten every excuse in the book about why I cannot get my $130 back + $30 admin fee. Am done with these crooks. Key Bank filed a DISPUTE against them for me.....
This place is absolutely horrible. They’ve increased my rent twice over the last 6 months from around 100 to 165. One without warning. This is absolutely ridiculous and incredibly predatory. I went to them over others because of the low rate when i had a crisis during my life that caused me to lose everything. They obviously do not value or care about their customers and I will be moving my stuff as soon as I possibly can. They should be ashamed of themselves.
Have been a customer for a long time. Prior owners were awesome and very friendly at the front desk. Did not get a notice they were acquired by another company but I discovered this when looking for info on their website. now all the websites are broken. Was simply looking for the current hours but get nothing but website errors. So far no good.
Checked out with the on-site staff in advance of my end of month payment. Had my trailer out on 6/13/2024. Informed the "clerk" prior to leaving, but was charged for another months rent... of course they can't process the credit card, and offer to send a check in 6 weeks!!! Buyers beware, they are a rip off!
Rented a unit in late April and just received a notice of a 20% rental increase after 60 days. Won't be renewing or doing business with a company with such questionable business practices. Too bad they could not be up front with pricing practices during the initial rental intake process. Buyer beware!!!!
Don’t let the tall metal fencing in the front fool you! And “High-tech Security” is a matter of opinion. Our RV was broken into twice in one week. The thieves cut the chain link fence and the cameras detected nothing. The last straw was the 100% rate increase over 5 years.

Iron Guard Storage n Marysville on Smokey Point BLVD has been great, and Lisa and her help there have been particularly helpful! We never have trouble getting hold of them, and they have been very responsive to our requests. They drove us around in a golf cart to look at spaces available, and helped us switch parking spots quickly when we requested a move to facilitate a better power hook up for our motor home. Couldn't ask for better service!!
Lisa works the administration here at this location. She is amazing very professional very accommodating just overall great people. I highly recommend this storage unit. I think this is one of the best in the area.
