After much deliberation, we have decided that we need to share our experience with Sound Moving Northwest. They moved us a few weeks ago and we are still finding damage to our furniture. They had the best of intentions I'm sure, but ended up cramming things so tightly into the truck without adequate wrapping that resulted in several pieces damaged. We were told that if we were to consider turning the damage in to the insurance company that they would only give us pennies on the dollar for the value of the items.
Worst moving experience I've ever had. I am in my 60's and moving with my mom , who is 90. The movers left furniture not put together, and stored everything in the garage, regardless of labeling (G for garage, U for upstairs, D for downstairs). They did not even place the boxes on the shelves in the garage. A week later I am still trying to find my pots and pans, HP printer and shelves to my bookshelves. Yes, they brought in the base, but no shelves can be found anywhere!
Hi Denise, The main issue with this move was you went from a crowded 4,200 sq ft home to a 3,100 sq ft home and you did not have nearly enough room for all your belongings. Your item list was estimated at 1-1/2 trucks and turned into 3 -1/2 truck loads with items still at your old house.
I wasn’t thrilled with them at all. They had availability somewhat last minute was about the only good thing but they took their sweet time to do stuff and the girl served no purpose coming with the two guys and just wasted time and money …
Hi Tawnya, I am quite surprised to read this review and want to run through your points one by one. AVAILABILITY: We always try to be flexible in emergencies as much as possible and I was sympathetic because it was obvious you were under a lot of pressure.
I really wish I had a better experience with Sound Moving. The owners were very communicative, especially about their pricing, and I respect that. They had to come twice to help my roommate and I move apartments, first to pack things and …

We had a fantastic experience with Jon, Austin, and Bryce from Sound Moving Northwest for our move from Bellingham to Bellevue. They arrived right on time and immediately got to work with a great attitude—friendly, positive, and incredibly professional throughout the entire day. They had to make a stop at a dumpster first and but were back to our place promptly to start packing, which we really appreciated. Once they began, they worked non-stop—fast, efficient, yet very careful with all of our belongings.
Huge shoutout to Bryce & Flavio for helping us move this week. They are extremely hard workers, worked so efficiently, took great care of all our items and always had a smile on their face even though they were doing all the heavy lifting. They really helped ease our burden of a stressful move. Can’t thank you two and this company enough! Sound Moving NW was also great at communicating before our move day to answer all our questions and booking was very smooth.

From getting the quote off David, to my dealings with Haley (who was great, so helpful), to the lads who loaded the truck (Jon & Flavio) in Arlington and who unloaded it in College Place, WA with the help of Austin this company was excellent. I'm no spring chicken so this was a stressful move but everyone involved at Sound Moving took a lot of the stress out of it. Despite the distance and a slow drive over the pass the price came in bang on the quote and I can't speak highly enough of all involved. Thank you!

When is moving an amazing experience? When you hire Sound Moving NW! The experience was perfect from first contact to final delivery. Great communication. Large efficient crew with 2 trucks. Great friendly attitudes, service and same day delivery. There was nothing that could have been improved. I will sing their praises to anyone that will stand still long enough to listen to me. Our crew was Jon, Austin, Daniel, Josh and Dan. Great guys, every one!
