Would not use this company again. BEWARE. 3 issues: 1. Quoted me $155/hr over the phone. The day before the move I received their confirmation and summary email that said $165/hr. I replied saying my understanding was $155/hr which they replied "you're correct". After the move was I charged $165/hr with no real explanation other than "that's our rate". 2. Their movers dropped and shattered a stone dining table top.
We contracted IMC to move our belongings to a storage unit while we renovate our new home. During move out, the rental house we were moving out of was damaged. While storing they packed items upside down or sideways. Even items that were clearly marked with directional arrows. So many of our personal belongings were destroyed due to their negligence. Please learn from my mistakes when dealing with IMC. 1. Always watch their every move 2. If you can, only use one of their trucks.
TLDR: Movers were argumentative, did not take good care of our belongings, and caused extensive damage to our wood floors. Company is now unresponsive regarding insurance claim. UPDATE - Moving company picked up the phone eventually and I now have an email confirming that the claim was filed, but no word yet on what will be done. Full Details: My husband and I hired Issaquah Moving Company to move some furniture and a few of our heavier boxes from a small 1BR apartment and storage unit to our new home across town.
Make sure to read the fine print! When it was time to pay they told me that the charges were $395 dollars they told me this is what I would be charged. When the payment went through they actually charged my card $410.80. They came late and commicated this late. When I wanted to read the forms they wanted me to sign they just kept telling me to sign the forms. They did not provide me with the Washington consumer movers guide that they made me sign saying that they had.
Did not have a good experience with this company. First they outsourced my move, so it was a different company altogether. (The truck was labeled as a different company) The people they sent barely understood English, and there was a lot of …

These guys tried to charge me 650 dollars to move a 4x8 pallet less then 250 feet. Don’t use them. I got a quote for 120 bucks from 3 other companies

This is our second move with issaquah moving company, and I can’t recommend them enough! Their team is seamless from loading to drop off, and works efficiently. They took great care of our stuff, wrapping furniture as needed and even taking some things apart for transport. At our new home, they made sure to place everything where we wanted it, and even unpacked some items. They took all the plastic and leftover boxes with them, which was a big help!

These guys are amazing, very hardworking and professional. I thought since I was paying by the hour that the job would just drag out, but that wasn't the case. They moved 145 boxes, industrial equipment and furniture from Issaquah to Seattle in 3 hours. I would definitely use their service again for any future relocation.

I moved from a house to an apartment. The adjustable base bed was complicated. The crew had no problem taking it apart and putting it back together. The crew did a good job wrapping my belongings and managing them with care. They had to navigate moving everything up three flights of stairs. Great job!
