Terrible experience don’t use this business! They will show up late for your move, damage your expensive furniture, damage your floors, and damage your walls. Then after all that… he tries to over charge you and not pay for the damages!! Jamie tells you he will send you money for damages then never does! Do yourself a favor and do not hire these guys!
Jake, we’re sorry to hear you feel this way. At J & J Moving, we work hard to provide reliable service and to resolve any issues that may arise during a move. We did stay in communication about delays, and we also agreed to address the damages you mentioned.
I just did a long distance move with J&J. I have made several long distance moves and this was the most unprofessional, ill prepared move. He lied to me about several things and met none of the timeframes that were set. Moved me in a 26 ft. tow trailer he "borrowed" and it was too small. I told him it was when he brought it. Even my neighbors knew the trailer was too small. Damaged several items and never offered any compensation for damage or the stress he caused me. Never, ever would I recommend this company!
I had a 10x20 storage shed not even stacked...this guy rented a 16 foot box truck. He looked at the storage building and said "yea we can get all that in 1 load! well he brought one guy to help him, he started at 12:30 and finished at 6:30. He had to make two trips and ended up charging me $900.00. NEVER AGAIN!!!!!!!!
Our apologies for the inconvenience. But you did not provide us with correct information for the move. And we also let you know when you were going to meet your time that was provided in the estimate. And asked if you would like to proceed with the additional hours.

This move was a big one for me. From the moment I talked to Jamie to up until the move he was so helpful, respectful, responsive and kind. He got my stuff from Mobile Alabama to Chicago Illinois with no problems, everything was perfect, fast and efficient. He always updated me on anything I needed to know, was very up front about the pricing and it stated that way throughout the entire time. I’m so thankful to have worked with this company, if I could give more than 5 stars I would!!

Jamie and his crew are the best movers in Mobile! They were punctual, professional and most of all, on budget. Damaged furniture is always the biggest worry with a move but they were very careful and didn't damage a single piece of furniture. Will definitely use them again!

By far the best moving company I have ever used. Jamie and his crew are nothing short than amazing and were wonderful to work with. We had a big move two states away and they made it so smooth and painless for us. They took amazing care of wrapping our stuff and grabbing the little things for me I left behind by accident. An all around good group of guys that really do take great care of their customers. I would highly recommend them for any move short/long distance, big or small. I can’t thank them enough.
