I hired Jack's Move to transport furniture from my storage unit in Denver to a new residence in New Orleans, where I already reside. The company was personally recommended to me, and after reading positive reviews and speaking with Jack in late April, I felt confident moving forward. My move-in date was scheduled for June 5th, and Jack confirmed he could accommodate it.
You don’t leave a customer till the jobs finished. Ever. Was told at 3pm by employee they’ve got to go to another job. My house was left like this. Owner called me and said they can come back tomorrow. That’s not what we paid for. I was originally quoted $650 and that changed to $1000, after owner didn’t come out to review what needed to be done before the job. I could’ve done it myself and would have had I known I’d be dealing with 5 different things undone.

Moving to a new state for a job is stressful enough, but discovering your new couch won't fit through the doorway—especially on the third floor—is a nightmare. I’m so glad I called Jack. I reached out to him with very short notice, and he was happy to help. When we arrived at the apartment, it quickly became clear that I had misjudged the size of the couch compared to the narrow entryway. My dad was convinced it wouldn’t fit and suggested we just bring it back down, but Jack refused to give up.
