I took the day off to supervise the junk removal. Junk-King arrived, parked the truck in driveway. Truck then wouldn’t start. They blocked me in my own driveway for 4-5 hours. I had to call the company repeatedly before a tow truck arrived. In addition, we asked for an empty truck; the broken down truck had several large items in the back. So… they sent us a broken, unemptied truck which kept us trapped, unable to leave our home for half of the day.

Can't believe they did this! I'd made an appointment with a *different company* whom responded quickly on Thumbtack and had clear prices. I had submitted an inquiry to Junk Kings earlier, and heard nothing back. Without confirming an appointment, Junk Kings showed up at our door at 8 am and my husband answered, thinking it was the company I'd hired. Their prices were twice what I've paid for similar loads and they stole business. I had to text the actual company I'd hired and apologize. Junk Kings was predatory!

I called and they literally hung up on me after I asked for a price estimate. So rude and unprofessional. Edit: I'm not jordan nor was that me youre talking about. I literally called for less than a minute about throwing away a couch and YOU hung up on ME.

My fence got scratched up and jostled a ton to where I was worried it would break, and I kindof assumed any mess made removing it would be cleaned up or it would be done in a way that didn't leave tons of mess. I also had a young fruit tree that got knocked around. Luckily it was okay, but I'd be hesitant to recommend based on how little concern seemed to be shown for property. They also didn't mention messing up the fence, although I saw them looking at it after they did it, so thats not a trustworthy decision.

Changing my review to 1 star. I realized that they threw some of my trash over the fence and left it there. After reaching out to customer service, I have not heard back about getting the team back out here or receiving some sort of refund. I’m not sure if it was an accident but the customer service could be better.

Connor reached out about an hour before my reserved time slot. He asked for specific items to be removed, provided a fair price estimate, and confirmed everything with me.
