JustIn Time Movers DFW

One of the worst service experiences I have encountered. I hired this company for an August 22 move, paid my deposit on June 29, and was given an arrival window of 8:00 to 10:00 a.m. The crew did not arrive until 1:05 p.m. Before that, I was directed to meet them at the storage unit, where I waited approximately 40 minutes and lost about one hour and 25 minutes including travel. I contracted for four movers, but only three worked until approximately 2:00 p.m.

So we were quoted ONE rate and then given another. I spoke to the OWNER, the day of booking and morning of. However, when his movers held my belongings hostage due to an issue that the OWNER, created, he become unavailable. We were only able to speak with Rita. The movers spoke with the owner, Rita spoke with the owner, but we were constantly told that we couldn’t. Wouldn’t recommend!! Not a professional business! Ran poorly!

The truck I received for my moving day was for 2 bedroom. Ahead of time they were aware that I had a 3 bedroom apartment. I was quoted that it would take less than 4 hours and it took over 9 hours. Because the truck was so small one mover broke down all my beds and the other moved boxes. I told Rita the POC of the move that I was not happy that they sent this size truck and she simply said she wouldn’t count the travel for the multiple trips.

SCAMMING BLACK OWNED BUSINESS!! If I could rate this business with no stars I would. I highly suggest you NEVER use this guy, his company or affiliates because him and the guys he work with are beyond unprofessional. They play games with their customers, when the customer has complaints with the move, movers and/or rates. They take their time moving you to make the cost increase.

Two stars because the actual movers were nice & it’s Black History Month. HOWEVER: -This move was scheduled back in January for today at 10:00am with a three man pickup. -Last night we received a text stating that the movers would arrive at 12pm. PROBLEMATIC. -Once we got on the same page and proved that we’d already scheduled this move to be at 10:00, the movers were still late and arrived at 10:25 with only two men. PROBLEMATIC.

I initially used Just In Time Movers to assist with my move into an apartment and was pleased with their reasonable pricing and quality of service. Based on that experience, I fully expected to continue using them for future needs. However, after my initial service, I scheduled a TV mounting service that was never completed. I followed up multiple times and was informed that the individual assigned to the task was unavailable and that someone would reach out to reschedule.

I was extremely disappointed with the three men and their small truck in the moving of my home. The lead mover shows up, does not introduce himself to me, points the time on his phone and looks at me and starts. They were informed prior to coming the size of my four bedroom home to move. Three guys, not four arrived in a small box truck that barely fit half of my furniture and things. Issue 1:They spent a lot of time wrapping every single thing in shrink wrap which did nothing to protect my furniture.

Wish I could give 0 stars. Hired them to move my bed, couch, washer and dryer, dresser, and a bed and dresser (already disassembled) that was in my storage unit in the same building as my apartment. They BROKE my couch, left my washer and dryer at the apartment, and tried to leave without putting my furniture back together that they took apart.
