They delivered a dining table to my house and it has damage to it. I called them and was told to email customer service, so i emailed them twice and no response. Maybe they will see this review Also don't get the montage warranty. It's not worth the paper it's written on.
The sales team is great, but customer service is horrible. I ordered a brand new sectional. I didn't even have it for 30 days before I noticed the frame was broken. I reported it to the insurance company in August 2024. They claimed they would set up a replacement. I would check in weekly, and it was always that they were waiting to hear back from the store. I went up to the store in November 2024 and was told they didn't have that information, but someone had been out to fix it.
I had a very disappointing experience with Katy Furniture in Richmond. I purchased a bedroom set about 4 months ago. From the first day of assembly, we noticed serious issues the drawers do not close properly, and one leg of the dresser is not straight (tilted). We contacted the store many times. Every time, they told us to send an email and promised someone would call us back. Unfortunately, no one ever followed up. We kept calling and repeating the same issue, but nothing was resolved.
TREAD LIGHTLY: If your furniture comes in damaged, don't expect their customer service to help you at all! I've been trying to reach out for an update on our second order with Katy Furniture for OVER FOUR months after being promised by management (Day of Delivery in October, Tom) that the furniture damaged prior to assembly would be replaced. Sales warehouse was a great experience in person - I have all of my grievances with the lack of communications to the WFH customer service.
Horrible customer service after sale. I have purchased a room in December of 2025 and have reported the issues with the assembly and the drawers, with no one to call me back or even provide me with a status update. Every time I call, they claim either they do not see it or someone will call me. After 2 months, I am still waiting for a response or a resolution. Not only that you have to wait for a long long time to get someone but also their careless mind once they complete the sale by taking your money.
It’s NOT LEATHER! Advertised as leather but it’s 100% vinyl! No returned phone calls no returned emails and the warranty we bought doesn’t exist. We contacted the warranty company and the information we were given by Katie furniture didn’t apply to any warranty that we purchased. We spent over $5000, and it was supposed to be leather. Additionally, they said it was their brand, but it’s made by Ashley furniture it’s not their brand.
I stumbled up in this furniture store as I was looking for a dining set for Thanksgiving. I was skeptical because of how empty and abandoned the store looks from outside but I was pleasantly surprised when we walked in & saw the variety and …
I am downgrading this review to a 1 star rating for Katy Furniture due to their extremely poor follow up with regards to a damaged bed. I am very disappointed as I have written to them several times since Aug 2025 …
