Moving with this company was my worst moving experience and I have moved several times. I have missing & broken items and damaged property. ALWAYS ask for your weigh scale tickets- they over charged by 1,080lbs and it took several weeks to be refunded. Edit: I did contact this email and you offered no resolution. The AMJ Franchise GM was cc’ed on all of the emails and offered zero resolution. In fact, they allowed the franchisee to send me aggressive emails. They were not heard from since Nov 14.

Messaged them to get a quote for an international move, they never got back to us. When asked, they said their boss was abroad and they would get in touch when he's back. Nothing, not a peep. Very unprofessional.

Unfortunately please NEVER use this company. We had damage in our new home to our stairs and contacted the company right away and they denied there was the damage and didn't do anything about it. They used a moving dolly to get the heavy item up bc they were not strong enough to bring it up our stairs. They were deceitful in what we signed with the paperwork as well and said we signed that we had no damage. We would have never signed that bc we told them to stop bc they were damaging the stairs.

I moved from Osoyoos to Vancouver Island and the movers managed to lose a piece of furniture ( antique) an absolutely irreplaceable Russian base to a vintage tea set, the shelves to my deceased father night stand, and other items. The glass from a big picture was broken despite excessive bubble wrap, being in a picture frame moving box with many towels inside so there was no shifting. And finally a 3 inch piece came off at the base of my glass display cabinet. Not fixable.

I asked for a quote on December 15 for pick up of 4 furniture boxes from Burnaby with delivery to Coldstream. They did not get back to me till January 21. AMJ's price was $900 for pick up & delivery. I called ACE Courier yesterday and they have picked up and already delivered the 4 boxes today for $150. Very unfriendly and unprofessional staff, price gouging, and brutal customer service.
worst customer service ever. went in yesterday to pick up a package and went into the office noone at the front desk to help called out but still no answer and i could here them chit chatting in the back.

Terrible service from the delivery team today. This was our first dealing with this company & their delivery guys. So could be a staff issue. But the driver was extremely rude & unprofessional.

We ordered a new bed from Costco and they used AMJ Home Delivery for the delivery. I have to give a huge shout-out and THANK YOU to Lynette. (not sure which office she works in) but I had an inquiry into a preset delivery date and time. It was originally pre-scheduled for next week (Tuesday) and we needed the bed before the weekend as we have company coming into town and we had already moved the old bed to the basement and had the new frame set up and ready for the new one.

Established dates of pick up and delivery ahead of time. Picked up on time. Loaded (not a big move) in 3 hours. Ensured we did a walk through to make sure nothing was left behind. Driver who picked up finalized the delivery date. Truck arrived at new location on time. Driver (not the same as pick up) began unloading and worked like a beaver getting things located even though up a flight of stairs. Two local guys arrived to help him after about 2 hours. Big contrast in their work effort compared with the driver.

Vanessa was fantastic—her communication was clear and timely, from the initial quote to date changes and all our little questions along the way. Kyle and his crew packed our home with such care and attention, and Kelly’s team handled the load and unload with that same thoughtful approach.
