We hired Nol for our local move based solely on his reviews and, while his crew (Pete, Alex and Jane) were amazing and did a great job, our experience with Nol himself was unsatisfactory. During the loading of our container, Nol did not do a pre-load survey and so had no idea what the job would entail or plan for an efficient load.
I have at times gone back to read again this ridiculous review posted many years ago from this Paul guy. We handled all of his items with great care and with no damage and in the end the day went so super long cause they had too much STUFF! So that made for extra trips of course!
Nol was very unprofessional in his communications with me. I decided not to do business with him because of this. I find it funny that he always talks back at every bad review he gets as I'm sure he will with this one as well.
Question...what kind/type of person can sit there and contemplate writing a bad review which was so unwarranted and so unjust? I know the type but cannot say to keep everything PC and professional.
DONT HIRE, TOTAL SCAMMER !! HORRIBLE ATTITUDE !! Emailed this character, and he states that they are NOT BONDED and have absolutely NO INSURANCE for his business, nor customers. When I asked him, he told me to go to the RCMP and get bonding insurance.....um, RCMP provide criminal record checks. An insurance agency provides bonding insurance, not the RCMP. He sees no reason to be insured, even when I asked him about it. What happens if an expensive piece gets broken?
I never even talked this person! This is all just made up lies to the max! I am always very nice on the phone. It is very unwarranted to get a 1 star too to not even work for someone! Hope one day Google can see through this and take this down. Please see all my real reviews in!...thanks!
They had prompt, efficient service and I was happy with them for the most part. I found it strange they don't provide invoices. Anyway, I wasn't going to leave a review, but then they begged for one. They claim I had an issue with sneezing rather than not sanitizing or washing hands after. And it looks like they're anti-maskers to boot. See attached screenshots of our text. caveat emptor Edit: I gave constructive feedback. And in a nice way too. Then he blew up. So I posted it online.
Obviously in business you sometimes get someone who just can outright lie and cannot be pleased at all period and this is that case here. It was summer time and masks were not mandatory at the time and it is hard trying to wear a mask to see items in hand properly when moving.
I do not recommend Nolan or his moving service. Arrived shorthanded (seems to be a reoccurring theme) and turned an afternoon move into 2 days. Does not know how to pack a moving truck so extra trips were required. Steer clear. This was a few years ago so maybe he has improved. For context he moved me from Ellis st. to Peachland in 2019.
Never worked for this guy! This is a total lie! I always have enough helpers and this guy is only a liar obviously! Will be reported to Google as a falsity of course. Some weird disgruntled guy from some blog off Facebook it looks like.
Terrible business, terrible immature owner, DO NOT SUPPORT THIS BUSINESS! GO SUPPORT FRIENDLY HONEST MOVERS OF KELOWNA!!! Nolan (the owner) is a headache nobody wants to deal with!! Save stress and choose better!
It is quite shocking actually that this super false review from someone I did not even work for is left on here by Google! Some just have zero better to do and nothing constructive to offer and nothing positive to say on anyone and this is clearly the case here.

All I can say is wow! These days when customer service seems to be deteriorating all around us someone comes into your world and just makes you say “Hey, there still are people that care!” These guys are by far more incredible than the google reviews tell you. We needed a moving company to help move my parents into assisted living. Talk about stressful. I connected with Nol because of the google reviews. He is so responsive right from the first time you reach out.

Nol communicated clearly via text, and confirmed the details once we had a conversation, then followed up with email. On moving day, he arrived early which was comforting, and was ready with his crew exactly as discussed. He was professional and took great care to ensure that no items were damaged. The entire experience went incredibly smooth and efficient. Nol's entire crew worked hard, were courteous and respected our instructions and COVID protocols.
Thanks Grant for nice review in and yes come later fall/winter time I do leave the 2 wheel cart, (some call it dolly yes), alone as when it snows the "dolly" thus becomes more of a hinderance and danger to use in snow/ice.
Top-Notch Service for My Senior Mother's Move I can't express how grateful I am for the exceptional service provided by Nol and team in moving my mother between provinces. From start to finish, they made what could have been a stressful and overwhelming experience so much easier for our family.
