La Rosa Del Monte Worldwide Movers

I would strongly advise against using this company. My experience transporting my vehicle from Puerto Rico to Orlando, FL was terrible. Initially, I was told that shipping would take 4-6 weeks, but my vehicle arrived over two months later. Additionally, I was informed in Puerto Rico that I had paid in full and would not need to pay anything upon arrival in Orlando. This turned out to be false, as the Orlando office refused to release my car until I paid additional fees.

My wife and I recently moved to the United States. When we started looking in Puerto Rico for a moving company, Rosa del Monte came up, and we liked their services. A service representative visited our home in Puerto Rico and was very kind. She explained everything in detail, and we liked the process and the estimate they gave us.

Since August 11, 2022, my desperation and headache with this company have been going on. If I had read the reviews before requesting their moving services, I could have avoided this ordeal, and I don't know what else to do or who to turn to. I was going to have my belongings shipped to Puerto Rico in August of this year, but two days later I changed my mind and decided to cancel everything.

The worst service ever… moving from Puerto Rico to Orlando. I sent my boxes at the end of February, and apparently by March 11th they were ready for pickup. I only received ONE call, which I couldn't answer. I only received ONE voicemail asking me to call back. I hadn't realized because I also didn't receive a text message or email saying my boxes were READY. I called on March 19th and they told me my boxes weren't in Orlando YET.

I called with ample anticipation of my desire for them to pick up my furniture to move out of state. I stressed the fact that I was to leave in April 7. This company is so far off of their own organization that they called me on March 18 the BUSINESS MANAGER calls me to let me know my furniture would be picked up on March 26. Comes to March 26 no one picked up my items.

This service is TERRIBLE. I sent my belongings from Chicago to Valrico, FL. They took longer than expected, and when my belongings finally arrived in Orlando, I had to take a day off work (without pay) so they (Rosa del Monte) could deliver them to my home, "at their convenience" (Rosa del Monte) and not mine, since I am the customer PAYING for this company's AWFUL service. I never received a courtesy call from either the Chicago or Orlando office, not even to let me know my belongings were on their way.

I don't recommend them. They're not responsible for the damage their drivers cause. I sent a new Samsung refrigerator and a Samsung stove from Orlando, Florida to Puerto Rico. It took longer than they said. When I received it, the refrigerator had fallen over. I complained to the driver, and he said it had to be unpacked. When he did, the handles were bent, and one door was bent. He said he would file a report, but they didn't secure the refrigerator.

I sent boxes of all sizes, two armchairs, two sofas, a dresser, and other small items like two paintings. They gave me a price over the phone, and when they arrived, they charged me $1,100 more. They give you a price and then rip you off. They even ask what you're taking; they never come to inspect the items. I told them to leave half the price, and they said they wouldn't take it and would give me a new price right away. They said it would be about $500 more, and when they finished, they ripped me off.
