If I could give them no stars I would. I strongly recommend thinking twice before hiring Legacy Moving. Our experience with this company was absolutely unacceptable from beginning to end. Legacy Moving transported our household belongings from St. George, Utah to Las Cruces, New Mexico. They came to our home twice before the move to prepare the quote, yet once the move was underway, our cost increased by more than $2,000 for additional packing labor and materials.
This should be a zero star rating since they never showed up to our scheduled appointment! Never called. So rude to leave me waiting. Rescheduled for the next day and they didn’t show up again! Never called. So rude. The manager didn’t care …
Extremely disappointed in Legacy Moving. We called two days before Christmas hoping to get our piano moved from main level to basement. Surprisingly, I was told "there was an 80% chance we could come out and do it today". We were elated. I was asked for pictures of the stairway and piano. I sent them. Then I was told they would come out to look at the project at 11:30 am. I waited anxiously until 1:40 and received an apologetic text stating they were waiting on the crew to determine their availability.
I know this company has many good reviews, but when I had issues with my move, they tried to discourage me from writing a review saying that all of their reviews were positive, and I shouldn't leave one just because I was upset. So, there may be more people out there that had bad experiences, but were pressured into not reviewing the company. Today is October 6th, we moved on June 5th, and it has taken us until this month to get everything resolved with Legacy Moving.
Putting down another moving company doesn't make us want to use Legacy Moving St George. While at a neighbors home, who was getting a quote from someone from Legacy, it came up that we were moving. The person from Legacy asked if we had a moving company yet and I said we did. He asked which one? I told him, then he proceeded to bad mouth them by first saying he hated them. Then he said they don't have a license or insurance, which is completely not true.

They LIED about price matching. False advertising. They should be fined for false advertisements. Scammy. Another competitor charged 85 per person. They refused to price match because... they "have to make a living". That may be so... but do not LIE in your advertisement claiming to price match. I got the same service for 200 dollars less. Theres laws against false advertisement.

Had such a TERRIBLE experience and would never recommend this company to my worst enemy. They were completely unreliable, jerked us around, kept rescheduling, no-call-no-showed twice, and then just up and decided they were too busy and didn't want to help us anymore. The worst business I have ever had the displeasure of knowing.

This is the 4th time in 13 years I’ve used Legacy Moving; and every single time they have never broken so much as a pencil. Their prices are the best in town, by far; and Travis and his crew were professional, Courteous, on time, and most of all very experienced at moving. 2025… what a heavy, difficult year. I lost my mom. A few months later, I lost my best friend. Then, just weeks after that, I lost my dog—the one I loved and cared for for 17 years. Soon after, I lost the home I was renting in Ivins, Utah, and had to move out immediately. At the time, the only available apartment within my budget was in Las Vegas, Nevada—a city I had already hoped to move to because of its international airport and accessibility.
