This company is very unreliable. I am trying to help my grandma out to this move. She actually hired a company to come and help her, but they were supposed to arrive first at 8 o'clock in the morning, but they didn't show up. And at 12 o'clock I got a call saying they won't be here until 2 o'clock in the afternoon, which they got here at most at 3. Then they said they would charge us an extra $400 to have the move done, which they hadn't, we agreed, but then we started the job.
I honestly would give this company a zero if o could they were very unprofessional and yesterday I was moving and they ended up quitting half way through. And to start they gave us the wrong estimate even though we sent photos of things …
this is Lina I wanted everybody to know and be aware of lift and load I hired them and they actually charged me $1,500 but they came first. They said they'd be here at 8:00 then they changed it to 12:00 then they changed it until 3:00 and then at the end of the day I asked him to move my furniture but they only end up moving boxes which I need in my furniture. My new place which didn't happen. It's very disappointing when you're elderly and you try to get help and you're on a fixed income.
This moving company was a nightmare. They arrived late and treated my belongings like they were worthless. Several items arrived broken, including an expensive lamp and a wooden table. I complained, but they did nothing and didn't even …

They were professional, hardworking, careful with my furniture, and made what could have been a stressful move so much easier. I moved from Calumet City Illinois to Gary Indiana on May 2nd and it was an awesome move. Kristan and Luis were amazing!!! They had to work in a very tight stairwell leading to the basement and they got everything down here with no issue. If you are ever in need of movers check out lift and load moving they are great.
