In their own words
We have used Lone Star Moving twice. The first time was 10 years ago. They showed up late the for this move. We had items broken which can happen easily enough. But we also had items stolen during that move. Nothing large but it was the principle. When the guys working were confronted some of the items amazingly showed back up - excluding the prescription medication that was stolen. We gave the company another chance and used them again February 2024. Our mistake!
We used Lone Star moving this past summer for a move to Weatherford and unfortunately had a terrible experience. We had them pack all of our things, load and transport to Weatherford then unload into a storage unit. Everyone we talked to and work with were very nice but almost all of our furniture was damaged in some way during transit. We have a large wooden bed and other pieces damaged that we had specifically asked to be wrapped because they had sentimental value.
Hired to help move aging/disabled parents. They were a no call no show. After calling them to see where they were we were told they had another move to take care of. We had booked them 6 weeks prior to our move. Had to call them three times to find out the status and then was told we were being pushed off later. Our time is valuable too....I would not recommend this company. Rude, unprofessional, and disrespectful of others time.
My mother lived in San Angelo for 2 decades and used Angelo Apartment Movers for many household and equipment moves and was always satisfied. I am guessing Lone Star bought them out. (Unfortunate). The entire recent experience was horrible. Lone Star moved my mother from San Angelo to another Texas town 5 hrs. away. They were late for their initial visit by several hours. It took several days, and many phone calls from my mother, to get a quote.

Lone Star Moving was extremely kind and willing to work with my smaller move! Eric and Dom were the men on my job not only were they right on time, they were both very polite and very efficient too. I asked them to “worry about anything larger than myself”, and they immediately got to work! Cheri and Becky in the office were very personable and willing to work with a partial cash/ partial card payment without any issues, which ended up helping me out a lot!
We used them on a move to San Angelo and the service was great. They arrived ahead of schedule-moved all the heavy stuff. They were very professional and the employees did a great job communicating with us. Kurtis and Xavier we're very nice and personable and did a great job. We have used them several times over the course of the past 8 years. I will say there has been many times that I am in need of furniture being moved around and moving items between properties. I have called them literally the night before i needed something moved and they made it happen every time. I trust Kurt and his guys with any move big or small. Very quick and efficient and most importantly affordable. These guys won't so ya wrong.
