At this point i would be very cautious about trusting this company with what they say they provide and how they will care for your personal belongs. Our family had a very negative and unprofessional experience. we are trying to amicably solve this issue with the owners who are currently undermining the severity of our experience. I will update this rating if we hopefully resolve our issue
Hello James and Kimberly, I am sorry that your experience with our company was not satisfactory. Maher Brothers always strives to provide good quality and service to our customers. We have been in communication by both phone and email to address the concerns of your move experience.
We hired Maher Bros for a corporate move, and it's been an overall horrific experience. The movers who arrived on-site to load our items had to check in and get a badge for building access. They lost this badge, and I had to facilitate them getting a new one. After our items were loaded, the head mover called me and asked, "Where am I going?" I advised him to reach out to his people at Maher Bros, as they would have all of this information, rather then calling my cell phone.

Although we weren’t able to move forward with Maher Brothers Moving Company due to our employer’s relocation reimbursement policy—which restricted us to booking through their approved vendors—we still want to highlight the exceptional experience we had while working with them during the planning phase. Mitch Helmkamp was incredibly professional, transparent, and kind throughout our interactions.
I would highly recommend this company! I did a FaceTime inventory and they were right on about space and weight needed. Jordan and crew were on time, very hard working, respectful and positive. They worked hard and quickly, took good care of furniture and belongings. The packing one day and unpacking the next went smoothly, efficiently and quickly. Brenda called the first day to make sure they were there and I liked that personal touch of being able to reach out to her.

These caring folks packed up and moved my 91 year old mom and her brother from Des Moines to KC. Megan carefully packed up my mom’s keepsakes with patience. Sam and his crew battled 95 degree heat to load a truck keeping us on schedule. Pricing is fair and attention to my family topped it. Hire them!!!
The guys called about 15 minutes before they were going to get to our location. When they got here they did a great job bringing I the heavy fire proof safe that we had ordered in. They were very nice & personable. It was a great experience! I highly recommend them.
