Scheduled a move with Man With A Truck for Sunday (0125/2026) in the LaMarque, TX area. Even called on Thursday (01/21/2026) to check to see if we needed to reschedule due to possible winter weather because I’m scheduled to go to closing on selling my house the following Friday and needed everything out by then. I was assured they were keeping an eye on the weather and was told it appeared that my area would miss the icy conditions and they were still planning on being there at 8am as scheduled.
Updating my review to two stars. We haven't even moved yet and already discovered items poorly stacked and already scratched. We paid a lot of $ to load a moving container. A nice chair was placed at the bottom with heavy things on top of it. The metal leg chairs of the dining table were not protected and already show scratches. The exercise pull up bar was secured with a moving band but the metal scratched the bar... I will update once we get to our final destination and unpack.

Hired MWAT to move on 8/4/25. People were pretty nice and on time. I paid for the the additional 300 packaging deal thinking it would be the packages specifically for clothes, but no they were just boxes from lowes so all my suits and dress shirts need to be redone. And they said they couldn't pack one of my rooms because they ran out of boxes, what did i pay for then? Then they proceeded to lay no protective cover so if you have hardwood, then watch out. I have dings on walls and floors.
Movers were very rough with my belongings just throwing everything around I did not appreciate it vey disorganized I was unsure of what they were saying as they were speaking their language every time they (two young men) were speaking to each other

To be honest 0 starts. One of the movers guy was very rude and unprofessional and manager too. not recommend this company at all. Please Houston area don’t book with them. HIGHLY NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY!

Several large pieces had to go to a new place outside Houston while smaller boxes stayed behind. Long distance movers separated everything correctly, secured truck, and delivery arrived exactly as planned. I loved they professional work ethic!!!
Houston move included a lot of furniture and few heavy items.Crew loaded everything quickly, secured each piece, and delivered it without damage
The move took longer than expected because one mover was very slow, while James worked hard and clearly knew what he was doing. As we were being charged by the hour, I ended up helping move items myself, which shouldn’t have been necessary. This isn’t a reflection of the company as a whole, just one individual who didn’t put in his best effort that day.
Houston movers helped with a two bedroom apartment near downtown. Larger pieces were taken apart first, hardware stayed grouped, and everything was assembled again after delivery. They cleaned up and made sure not to damage any of furniture or walls. Will definitely use them again if need be.
