In their own words
Manly Moving was my 3rd choice so my expectations were low. But for the price, I suppose they did a C- job. Showed up for move-out with truck too small. Estimate was done over the phone with no pictures. Also, the crew had no tools despite order to disconnect and remove appliances. Mattresses were NOT put in boxes so at move-in they were dusty, dirty, and greasy from the U-Haul truck floor. Nothing lost or broken but several scratches due to insufficient furniture blankets. Move-in was interesting too.
I called over 3 weeks ago about needing movers to load a pod so i could move to illinois. They agreed to come on the 18th and sent me an email with that information. No call, no show and my flight is tomorrow so somehow I've got to figure that out instead of seeing my daughter and my father for the last time.
We booked with them to help with a download of a uhaul. They said everything was good then canceled on us at the last minute. Then the day of the move they sent us a confirmation text saying they would be there but never showed. Would not recommend.
We take full responsibility for what happened. We should have communicated better on that and we are so sorry for any troubles we caused you. If there is a way we can make it right, then please call and let us know.
Posting on behalf of Bonnie M. They were supposed to be at my home on Saturday at 10am. They confirmed this with me on Friday. At 10am there were no movers at my home. I contacted them, and …
I am really sorry for the lack of communication for your move. This is not typical of how we run business. We will fix this issue. Your deposit was refunded in full.

In their own words
We had a fantastic experience with Manly Moving LLC thanks to an amazing crew—Jared, Lochlyn, Seth, and Conner. From start to finish, they were professional, efficient, and genuinely careful with our belongings. Moving can be stressful, but they made the entire process feel smooth and manageable. They showed up on time, worked hard the entire time, and handled everything with care—nothing was damaged, and they were very respectful of our home. What really stood out was their positive attitudes and teamwork.
We are so incredibly grateful for this review. We know how much your house and belongings mean to you, and our team took absolute pride in providing safe, meticulous moving just for you. Working with you was an absolute pleasure and we hope to help you again someday.
Manly Movers were fantastic. We were very fortunate to connect with this company. All the movers were professional and worked very hard to load us and unload us in a timely manner. Eli was particularly a stand out. He was extremely personable and communicated with us throughout the move. His expertise in both wrapping, lifting, loading and unloading was exceptional. Moving is a stressful event, moving out of state is on an entirely different level.
Manly moving was easy to work with, punctual, affordable, and most importantly, careful. I had an old family heirloom piano that needed moves downstairs. They can within a few days, arrived on time, and completed the move without a scratch. They even moved a bookshelf for me while at it. Couldn't recommend them more!
We are truly smiling reading your feedback! Thank you for trusting our local moving company with your beautiful home and belongings—it means the world to our hard-working crew.
This is the second time I’ve used a moving service and these guys are far superior to what I’ve experienced before. I would highly recommend this company and the movers to anyone else. Thank you for doing such a good job and making sure that my furniture and the walls were kept nice.
Thank you Briya for being a repeat customer and thank you for noticing the extra care we take! We wrap your belongings with the highest attention and care because we truly care about keeping your household treasures safe and sound.
