Maple Leaf Moving & Storage

I talked to rick about a local move and my concerns about not showing up because my last moving company left me high and dry. Rick said that they would be there and do a good job.....that was the first lie.....they were supposed to show up at 9am on September first......at 930 I called them and someone said let me check on this issue.....never called back and after continually getting an answering machine that was full I finally got through at 1015 only to be told the truck broke down.

I had the worst experience and I hope no one faces the same situation. I had the appointment for local moving in Toronto. I called them in advance and they confirmed that my booking is confirmed and the movers will arrive between 2-3 pm at the place of origin. As my moving was from one condo to another condo, I booked the elevators at both the places for moving. On the moving date the movers did not come on time, I tried calling the number but no one picked the call and always disconnected my calls.

I was helping my brother to move out of his condo into a new house. They had moved him out of his last place and they were an hour late but tried to give them another chance a year later. TERRIBLE communication and lied to us multiple times. Called day before to confirm time and date and address. Everything was confirmed for 9:30 am. Day of, they call to say they will be late an hour late at 10:30. Call back saying they won’t be here now till 12. Called AGAIN and they said can’t be here till 2 pm!

1. There was only four(04) floor runners they used.That did cover part of carpeted area and was walking with shoes in the rest of the area and on hardwood. They did not have enough floor runners nor shoe covers. 2. They provided with me only two wardrobe boxes and on requested gave me another later.I had to squeeze all my clothing and two closet clothes were left without taking.There was 06(Six) on the estimate 3.

Incompetent and unprofessional. -I got their number from my realtor , very disappointed and will never use them again , informed my realtor not to recommend this company to his clients. -They showed up hours late, only after many phone calls to remind them -They did not use furniture blankets or dollies -I reserved my condo service elevator for 12 pm to 3 pm and they showed up at 03.30 pm.

I'm writing this review of services for July 2022. I provided Maple Leaf Movers an opportunity to address my concerns in private and received no response. I arranged for Maple Leaf Movers to help my mother move from Brampton, ON to London, ON on Monday, July 25th. Though the movers were friendly and did not break anything, I have some concerns I would like to share. My mom has an elderly dog who was put in a main floor bathroom while furniture was being moved into the house in London ON.

I scheduled a move and they didn't even show up. I was in contact with them all day via text and they kept saying they would be there in the afternoon. Then around 7:30, was told they were almost done at another location and they would be there within an hour and I didn't hear another word. The next day I received a text message saying saying sorry, the guys were tired and I am sure you can appreciate that...well guess what, you had me and the pick up location waiting for your company all day until 10.30PM.

Never trust these crooks and cheats. I was moving condo from Burlington to North York. They were late by one and half hour. There was easy way to reach North York through QEW, instead they stopped at Brampton, wasting 3 precious hours. I couldn't get elevator for unloading. Me and my family had to sleep at a hotel. On top of it they didn't move my entire stuff. I had to fire them immediately. Being weekend, I couldn't arrange other movers nor elevators at both ends. My move got completed in 5 days.
